Highlights
  • Lexington - The Thirsty Fox: We will enjoy a bourbon cocktail, with paired appetizer, and talk about the history of bourbon in the Bluegrass.
  • Creaux - We’ll visit this lively, New Orleans inspired lounge for a fruity cocktail made with Fresh Bourbon, recognized by the state as the first African Americans to make KY bourbon since slavery. You’ll hear about Kentucky bourbon’s ties to New Orleans trade, along with the undertold, important roles that slaves played in distilling.
  • Lexington - We’ll end by visiting Harvey’s Bar in The Grove for two perfectly crafted cocktails. Situated in one of downtown Lexington’s most renowned historic buildings, The Grove offers a progressive social experience curated by a medley of local businesses. You’ll enjoy a sweet and savory charcuterie cup from Fable and deliciously paired signature cocktails from Harvey’s, like the Nurse Kelly and Nate’s Espresso Martini. You’ll hear stories of Prohibition in Lexington, surrounded by new friends and in the perfect spot to keep the party going!

Fantastic opportunity - The tour was great but our tour guide Kaylee (sp?) was fantastic! She was full of energy, laughter and knowledge. The food was very good and I appreciate the gluten free options. Everyone who lives or comes to Lexington to visit should take one of these tours.

Great Fun for Group of Old Friends! - The variety of food is great altho heavy on the carbs. One of the restaurants, Zim's, I would definitely return to for a regular meal. I went to college at UK but really didn't know any of the history that we learned on the tour. Cayley is a great guide. Would highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic Drink & Food Tour! - Very enjoyable tour where you not only get delicious drinks and appetizers but a very interesting history lesson of Lexington. Kat was an outstanding guide! Highly recommend this tour but hopefully they change out the last drink (an express martini) that just didn’t fit with the rest of the tour.
