A Delightful Morning in Bluegrass Country - We spent a very pleasant morning with Mr. Washington, touring Merriworth, KatieRich, and Margaux Farms, along with a rest stop at Midway Bakery and Café. At Merriworth, we fed peppermints to the retired/rescued thoroughbreds, who are living a sweet life there. At KatieRich, our group was excited to see all the mares and their foals, many of whom were sired by Kentucky derby winners. We sampled many of the delicious baked goods at Midway Bakery, and we especially liked the cinnamon rolls, and chess pie. The grounds at Margaux Farm are simply beautiful! Mr. Washington is a very professional and personable guide, with so much knowledge of horses, racing, and bluegrass country. Thank you, sir, for a really wonderful experience!

Okie grammy - Our guide was the best. He shared his life experiences living and working with the horses there. Plus many of the owner making you feel a part of the area. What history you have in Lexington and KY. I have already recommended it to people on our trip heading that way. It truly was a highlight of our trip through KY.

Personal Tour of Beautiful Farms; Would Return in a Heartbeat! - This tour was FANTASTIC!!! There were 6 of us on the tour with Jeff as our guide. He was amazing! My dad uses a cane to help walk and Jeff made sure my dad didn't miss a thing! We visited 4 horse farms and learned so much about racing and breeding and training the most beautiful horses. One of the farms was a rescue farm. That was very cool! Jeff shared so much of his knowledge and experiences with us. He truly made this personal and engaging. Would highly recommend and plan to return for another tour!

Enjoyable tour - On our recent vacation this tour with Shawn was one of the things I enjoyed the most. Shawn is so knowledgeable about the horse racing industry. We toured farms that are not open to anyone but Shawn. Everyone was so nice and pleasant everywhere we went, including Stanley the cat. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is traveling thru Lexington. Shawn knows his stuff and is such a nice guy.

What a wonderful tour! - Shaun was our tour guide & what a good time we had. He is a born storyteller & that coupled with his infinite knowledge of the horse industry made for such a memorable experience. We petted mares, their foals, stallions, brood mares & barn cats. We fed them mints—apparently these horses recognize Shaun as they come running over to the fence to greet us the minute they see his tour van. He knew all of their names, their sires & dams, their winnings, & their progeny. How does he remember all the fact? He’s amazing!

Amazing Experience! - Amazing! Our tour guide, Sean was so knowledgeable and made the experience so much better. We went to three different farms and a vet clinic. Stopped at a bakery half way through, which was a great opportunity to have a snack and chat with others. I would highly recommend this tour. Loved it!
