Love the horse farms in Lexington! - From pick up to drop off, we were thoroughly entertained by our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable with the information that he provided during the tour and our group learned so much about the business of Kentucky horses from breeding to racing. Loved seeing the horses training on the track at Keeneland, traveling through the horse farms and also having the opportunity to visit a few horses and their young offspring up close. What gorgeous animals on a beautiful day in Lexington! You are missing out if you don't take this tour when visiting Lexington.

You will not regret booking this tour - Touring Keeneland farms & watching some of their horses in training. Hearing so much of the history of the various farms we visited & passed. The highlight was going to one farm where we were able to interact with some mares & their 3-4 month old foals

High grade for knowledge - Low grade for communication - The tour was a good look at the horse breeding and racing industry, and I enjoyed that. What frustrated me (as well as other customers) was that the guide, while obviously very knowledgeable and experienced, was a poor communicator. Many of us lost most of what she said while in the van because (1) it was difficult to hear her, (2) she spoke way too fast, and (3) her voice level dropped at the end of sentences so that we couldn't hear the end of her sentences. Maybe if she were speaking to just a couple people and facing them it would have been clearer, but it was not a voice projection I would expect in a professional tour with 10 people on board. A number of us had this frustration. She was a very nice lady, very friendly. I just wish we could have comprehended what she was saying.
