Book this tour if you dare! (Highly recommend!) - I had a blast on this spooky and historical tour! We learned a ton and the whole experience was so engaging. Erin and Katt were great guides. I loved every stop! We even took a mixology class. This tour put me in the mood for fall and was so unique. Thank you Bites of the Bluegrass!

Bites of the Bluegrass Walking Tour a must-do!!! - Kaylee our guide was awesome! She went over and above, telling and describing to us the history of Lexington, buildings, neighborhoods, etc...so much that I can't remember it all! I hope her company appreciates her and her enthusiasm as much as my friend and I did!

Delicious and fun walking food tour! - Highly recommend this tour for a great (and delicious) tour of downtown Lexington. Our tour guides (sisters whose names escape me, sorry!), were so knowledgeable and had fun-filled stories about various landmarks around the city. They were so upbeat and exuded nothing but positive and fun vibes, they really make the tour an enjoyable experience. We had plenty of time at each stop, no rushing, which was nice as we chatted with the other tour visitors. The food stops were quite varied and portions were not skimpy. All in all, a great way to spend the afternoon!

could have easily been much better - My wife and I have been on over 8 food tours in different states, but were somewhat disappointed on how this was run. In fairness though, we toured with 4 other couples who HAD NEVER been on a food tour and they loved it. We started out with a very good and filling meal. Usually food tours have specialized samplings but not a full meal! All were rushed to finish when it was time to go. We then went on a fast paced walk to a museum. Normally, food tours point out and explain places of interest. However, we went it for probably 15-20 minutes. We then went to another restaurant who also specialize in margaritas and you had the option of purchasing that or another beverage. I clearly asked our guide if there would be enough time and she said yes. Sure enough, the food was brought and the beverages served, and very soon we were told it was time to go with most of us trying to finish our food and drink. So, to my surprise and somewhat disgust, the next stop was the Keeneland Gift Shop! Another 15-20 minutes wasted there So, together with the museum and Keeneland Gift shop, we wasted at least 1/2 hour that should have been spent casually enjoying and not rushing the food. There was one other food stop, and then a stop for dessert. Overall, the food itself was very good. The history was interesting, although not sure the story of the stuntman who died 22 story fall or the cholera deaths were all the entertaining. History of women's voting rights and slavery were very good. Easily could have been much better especially for those experienced in food tours.
