Julio Is The Best - Oh my gosh! Where do we begin. We flew into Liberia Airport and were welcomed in by Julio, our driver. Not only was Julio super friendly and easy to talk to, but extremely informative about the towns, local people, delicious spots to eat, hiking trails, wild life, etc. We spent half the trip in the jungle staying at Rio Perdido and the other half at beach Andaz Papagayo. Both hotels were heaven. Staff were amazing. Food was divine. Local amenities/ activities: pools, bars, and, trails, barista class, mixology class, zip lining, etc was beyond memorable. We hiked Rio Celeste, where we saw the incredible waterfall and were driven out to the sloth sanctuary. Julio drove us of course (we didn’t want anyone else) and was so knowledgeable about the plants, animals, and locations. He gave great recommendations on what to do and answered all our extra questions. He made our drives so entertaining and quick. He really was one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you Julio for being so great and apart of our memories!

Fabulous Tours & Transfers with Costa Rica Best Trips! - We had wonderful tours & transfers with Costa Rica Best Trips! Communication with the office was exceptional, with detailed confirming itineraries and additional email confirmation the day before the event. Our transfers to and from Andaz resort were on time, friendly and professional. Our 2 nature and hiking tours were truly amazing, thanks to Julio, our guide, naturalist and driver. The first tour was to Monte Verde Cloud Forest and Biological Reserve. The second tour was to Heliconias Rainforest ending with a waterfall swim. Julio introduced us to the remarkable biodiversity of this beautiful country with sightings and explanations of birds, reptiles, monkeys, trees, flowers, and more inhabitants of the forest. If you do the cloud forest tour, be sure to bring a warm rain jacket as the temperature in the forest is very chilly and very much cooler than at the beaches. This is a very long day, but worth every moment! Highly recommend getting away from the beach and doing a nature tour during your stay. Costa Rica Best Trips is the best - Ariel, the owner operator, picked us up. He is nice, professional, respectful and courteous. My wife and we’re so impressed with him we did two more adventures with Costs Rica Best arropa during our week long stay at the Andaz.

As advertised - These guys performed exactly as promised. Airport transfers were on time and priced as stated. We had a nice van for just two of us each way to our hotel on Peninsula Papagayo. The driver was friendly and safe. We also did a one-day tour with this company that included a great zip line folllowed by a drive to the Miravalles Volcano, a horseback ride to the rain forest, a great hike with amazing waterfalls, lunch and hot springs sauna, pool and mud bath. Perfect. We would definitely use them again. Recommended.

Great service at a great price - Easy to book, received email summary after booking, and they emailed to confirm a few days prior. Easy to find at airport (sign with my name). Great service from Mario who took the time to explain what we were seeing and explain different things about their culture. It was a private transfer, which was nice. Mario also promptly picked us up at our hotel for return to the airport (he was actually early!). The cost was half as much as what the hotel would have arranged. I’d book them again in a heartbeat.

Great company - wonderful tours and transportation! - We used Costa Rica Best Trips for all our transportation and excursions in the area and were thrilled with the results. Transportation to and from the airport went smoothly, and our driver Ariel provided great commentary and history of the region during the trips. We originally booked a day trip to Miravalles Volcano Crater, but Ariel recommended switching to the Borinquen Combo Canopy tour for better ziplining and rainforest hiking. He was totally right - the ziplines were phenomenal and we enjoyed the mudbaths and hot springs at the end of a fun filled day. We booked a half day fishing charter as well, and while the fish weren't really biting during our trip we did get to see some beautiful coastline and got a couple red snapper to take back to the hotel restaurant for dinner. Costa Rica Best Trips really made our first vacation in Costa Rica memorable and we can't wait to go back!

Amazing company and tour guides! - We had the absolute best experience with Costa Rica Best Trips!! Ariel was amazing and incredibly helpful with assisting to plan our activities and setting up airport transportation. All of our activities (the Heliconias rainforest hike and Mega combo tour) were SO amazing- our tour guides Andre and Oscar were soooo kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They even found us a few tree sloths on our rainforest tour-dream come true!! I can't say enough great things about this company-10/10 would recommend to everyone! We will definitely be back to CR someday in the future and will definitely be booking transportation and activities with Ariel and his fantastic crew!

Airport Transfer and Day Trip to Monteverde - Costa Rica Best Trips which had very competitive prices for the airport pick up to Andaz Papagayo from Liberia Airport. We were able to request a stop at a local restaurant before getting to the resort and a grocery store for snacks. We had flight delay on our trip back to the US and Ariel was very responsive and flexible over WhatsApp to push our trip to the airport back so that we could stay longer at the resort! We did one excursion, to Monteverde for coffee tour, hanging bridges, and zip lining. Monteverde is far and people suggest not going for a day but we actually found that it wasn't as tiring a day as expected and since there's a driver it wasn't stressful at all. Our tour was from 7-6pm. It included breakfast but we chose to leave later and eat at the resort. Our tour guide Manny is fluent in English as he taught in South Carolina for a few years - he taught us so much about Costa Rican history, culture, economics and showed us many flora and fauna on our hanging bridges hike. We also had a driver and the drive there was very smooth, felt safe, and was in an AC van. Lunch was also included and was at a delicious restaurant in Santa Elena. We are so glad we went with Costa Rica Best Trips - it made the excursion stress free and it was great to have someone answer all our questions! It was sad to hear about how Covid devastated the travel industry and they are under new lockdowns now (though tourists are exempt) and we were happy to support a local business. They are easy to book by email or WhatsApp and we only planned 1-2 days before each excursion as they were very flexible.
