506 Shuttle Paull/Jones Group-Tamarindo - We arrived April 28 at LIR at 6:30 am and our driver Junior was waiting for us outside the exit door with our cool 506 van! Quickly our luggage was stowed away. We were provided cold water and delicious iced coffee for our hour trip! Even though our route encountered an incident, Junior side tracked and utilized some rural streets and before we knew it we’d arrived at our accommodation in Tamarindo. Junior was professional, courteous and friendly and we hope he’s our driver for the return trip.

Reliable and Fun Transfers and Tours - I am so glad I found 506 Transfers and Tours on Trip Advisor as it was top notch from start to finish! Our family of 7 was traveling from Miami and Dallas and our airlines family few standby which made coordinating transfers tricky but Sebastian (who managed reservations) was patient and great with us when booking. We used 506 for: -RT transfers to and from Liberia Airport to the JW Marriott Guanacaste -Rincon de la Vieja Oropendola waterfall and hot springs tour - RT transfer service from JW Marriott to Tamarindo 506 was always punctual, reliable and drivers/guides were friendly - Gracias Daniel, Junior y Catalina! For our airport transfer upon arrival, we were greeted at the exit of the airport with a sign with our families name. The van was clean and comfortable! They even have car seats for children which was great - I definitely did not want to bring one! Catalina stopped by a local convenience store for us to pick up some drinks and snacks before heading to the JW Marriott (because at the JW there is nothing around to buy). Catalina even had waters, beer and juice for the kids for our ride! It was wonderful! Our tour of Rincon de la Vieja was with Daniel. He was very informative, passionate about his work and Costa Rica! We started our tour with an almost 2 hour drive to Rincon de la Vieja. When we arrived we walked about 5-7 to a beautiful waterfall. We were the only ones there when we arrived which was awesome for picture. of course the water was freezing so we didn’t spend too much time there but it was totally worth it! If you go to this waterfall, I would highly recommend some good water shoes because the rocks made it difficult to walk at the mouth of the waterfall. After the waterfall, Daniel clicked open two Imperial beers for us and we were off to the hot springs which was a very close 5-10 minute drive. They had many geothermal pools to take advantage of and the mud bath was cool but I was expecting a mud pool not a little bowl with warm mud to spread all over our bodies. This detail wasn’t a deal breaker for us, although it may be for someone else with a different expectation. The lunch buffet was just okay but it did satisfy our hunger. Overall, I would absolutely use and recommend 596 Transfers and Tours!

Excellent Service For All Of Your Transportation Needs - A great company we have used for several years when ever we are back in Costa Rica. They are always prompt with their responses when contacting them and have great service. They always pick us up from the airport as promised in what ever size vehicle reguired for the size of our group. We also use them as a taxi service too when we don't wish to drive far for dinner or other activities. Highly recommend them.

Perfect Transfer - Viviana and her mom were so at the airport waiting for us even after a delayed flight. They had cold beverages ready and made our transfer to Playa Grande easy and enjoyable. Viviana knows a lot of English so us foreigners felt very comfortable conversing about the area and things to do.

Safe ride - We used this transportation r/t between airport and hotel. The drivers were polite and friendly. There was beer and water on our way to the hotel in a spacious vehicle, but it was a cramped ride without beverages on our return to the airport. The driver also asked to take a picture. I’m not sure what it would be used for, so we didn’t take one. There were some issues with pickup times we had scheduled, but the service was quick to respond and had drivers there when we originally scheduled them. I would recommend this service, but I would also make sure to clarify travel times with the service multiple times.
