A truly fantastic visit - - There were 3 of us who travelled from France we are all petrol heads and we each have British cars - a 1965 MGB which I race in historic racing in France, one Friend has a Jaguar and an MGF and the other 2 MGB’s- We were stunned by the number of cars, the beautiful exhibitions, the building but the staff of volunteers and their genuine hospitality was fantastic. Notably Mike in the Jaguar centre who speaks excellent French showed us around with a depth of knowledge that was truly amazing, Robin who introduced us and indeed everyone including the lovely ladies in the restaurant are to be valued and thanked because it is the people who really count. A very big thank you to them all.

A great day for all the family! - Thank you so much to all the team for making my husband’s 70th birthday such a happy and memorable one. All the family, both young and old, had a great day. Our special thanks to the wonderful catering team, our guide, Ian, the gentleman who welcomed us, and the guide who kindly took the family photo. We look forward to a return visit before too long

Well worth a visit - A much larger venue than we expected with an amazing collection of vehicles and we chatted to several interesting members of staff. Well set out with a very good restaurant. We could easily have spent more time here and will definitely have another visit.

Very enjoyable and great value! - We had a thoroughly enjoyable trip to the British Motor Museum at the weekend. We booked it pretty much last minute but were able to take advantage of the “book in advance” discount. What brilliant value - we ended up spending over 3 hours here and we enjoyed every minute of it. We managed to catch the history tour and talk provided by Robin, it was very informative and Robin made the subject of the history of British cars come alive…. It is definitely worth trying to catch the walking tour if you can. We will very likely come back again here, as we could spend hours just looking at the hundreds of cars that took us back to our youth (and beyond!).

Great day out for the whole family with great staff - I went to the British Motor Museum in November 2024 as a planned visit and purchased a ticket in advance. I travelled to the museum on my motorcycle, I didn’t see any signposted motorcycle parking on arrival but there was plenty of parking available. I presented my ticket at the front desk and the very welcoming gentleman presented me with a padlock and key and said there were lockers just around the corner in which I could secure my crash helmet etc. and just asked for me to return the padlock on departure. How refreshing to be so well treated. The museum has a great selection of vehicles and certainly has something for everyone, from cars our parents, those that their parents had and those that we all lusted over in poster form on our bedroom walls. The Jaguar collection in the adjacent building is excellent particularly having the opportunity to view the workshop from above, pride of place on my visit was one of the Silk Cut Jaguar Le Mans cars mid rebuild. The cafe was good and reasonably priced with a selection of hot and cold snacks and 2 for 1 cookies. I would recommend arriving early whilst it is quiet, plus it gives you plenty of time to see everything on display.

Excellent Venue awash with motoring history - My recent visit was my third over the last 25 years and I was not disappointed. The museum has developed significantly over the years and currently houses a fantastic collection of cars and other vehicles that will stimulate the memories of everyone that chooses to visit. The visual impact of the collection is further enhanced and brought to life by supporting story boards and videos which certainly provide a flavour of the lives of those who worked within the motoring industry and the evolving laws associated with motoring over the years. Staff could not be more welcoming and are a wealth of knowledge in respect of the collection laced with their own experiences and stories. For Jaguar lovers the specific collection will be a must coupled with the museums additional collection of many development and test models. The cafe was very good offering a limited but appropriate selection of hot and cold snacks and drinks. In summary I would defy anyone with even a token interest in motoring history not to be impressed and spend 4-5 hours absorbing the collection.

Cool cars - Excellent museum tracing the history of the British motor industry and more. The museum is spotlessly clean and so much to see. Loved the Vauxhall Heritage cars, many reminding me of my youth. Spent a good 3.5 hours here and had a jacket potato in the Junction 22 cafe, the spud was awesome and at a decent price. If you like classic cars this is the place to come, one letdown, it could do with more classic Fords from the 70s like the Zodiac and Zephyr. Highlight for me was the droopsnooot Firenza, awesome car.

A good day out spoilt by one incident. - Wonderful day out with an excellent range of British vehicles in a clean and well laid out environment, supported by professional, friendly and passionate staff and volunteers. The day was spoiled for me when, during the free tour and being the only non white person on it, I was asked, in front of everyone, if I was aware of a certain British TV programme, as ‘people not from this country may not know it’. I’ve lived here all my life and this spoilt what was an otherwise excellent day out and I left feeling sad and disappointed.

Car heaven - Brought my 13yr old grandson to Gaydon. He's become a bit of a car fanatic! We were both impressed with the wide selection of amazing cars. The Jaguar collection was a bonus!

Bad shop experience - Staff were not at all good. Waited to be served in the shop as four staff were having a chat about football. When someone else came up they grudgingly served but no interest or help whatsoever - just tutting as the child took just a moment to select his car - which was not an inexpensive item. I really felt they let the museum down.
