Upon reaching the port, guests can board the boat for a delightful short journey to the islands. Once there, they will be thrilled to visit two floating islands! It’s exciting to jump on the Totora, and the guide will explain how these islands were constructed.

After exploring Uros Island, the group will return to the boat to head to Taquile Island. During the trip, there will be plenty of opportunities to strike different poses for photos, and before they know it, they will have arrived in Taquile. Visitors will be taken to the island’s plaza, where they will explore the ‘Textileria,’ recognized as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO!

Around 1 PM, lunch will be served. After learning about the history of Taquile Island, guests will enjoy a delicious quinoa soup, followed by a main course of freshly caught fried ‘Trucha’ fish, served with French fries and rice. Vegetarians can opt for an omelette, also accompanied by fries and rice. To drink, ‘Muña mate’ will be offered. With satisfied appetites and joyful hearts, the group will head back to the port to return to Puno, concluding a wonderful day!
