Day 01: Welcome to Lima.

Day 02: Cusco, Capital of the Empire
Cusco - In the afternoon, enjoy an exclusive city tour starting at Plaza de San Cristóbal for a panoramic view of the city. Next, visit the San Pedro Market to experience local flavors and learn about regional products. The Qorikancha Temple will then welcome visitors with its grandeur, once adorned with gold-covered walls. From San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood, stroll down Hatun Rumiyoc Street to see the Inca Roca Palace, now the Archbishop’s Palace, and admire the famous Twelve Angled Stone. Continue to Plaza de Armas to visit The Cathedral, which houses valuable colonial artworks.
Day 3: Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman
Sacsayhuaman - In the morning, escape the crowds to explore Sacsayhuaman, a remarkable citadel with massive structures harmoniously integrated into the landscape. Proceed to the Inca sanctuary of Q’enqo, featuring an intriguing sacrificial altar within its rocky formation. Finally, visit the Puca Pucará lookout and Tambomachay, a monument of architectural excellence and a key element of the Andean worldview. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city.
Day 4: Sacred Valley: Inca and Colonial Pisac, Inkariy Museum and Yucay Live Culture Center
Sacred Valley - The Sacred Valley of the Incas welcomes visitors today. The first stop is the Inca village of Pisac, one of the most stunning archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley, offering a magnificent view of the colonial village below. Explore the colonial village and shop at artisan workshops. Later, tour the Inkariy Museum to explore exhibits of pre-Hispanic cultures of ancient Peru. After lunch, visit the Yucay Live Culture Center, where locals demonstrate traditional weaving and dyeing techniques, adobe making, and the preparation of chicha, a corn-based drink. Enjoy a close encounter with Andean camels: llamas and alpacas. Overnight stay in the area.
Day 5: Sacred Valley: Moray Terraces, Maras Salt Mines and Ollantaytambo Living Inca Village
Maras Moray Tours - Discover the wonders of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the Inca Terraces of Moray, an agricultural laboratory designed to recreate 20 different microclimates. Continue to the Village of Maras to tour the ancient salt mines, still in use today. The contrast between the white salt pools and the clayey earth creates a picturesque landscape. After lunch, explore the streets, plazas, and terraces of Ollantaytambo, the last living Inca village. Visit the archaeological site overlooking the village to see the unfinished Sun Temple. At the appropriate time, board a train from the village station to Machu Picchu town, located at the mountain’s base. Overnight stay in the area.
Day 6: Machu Picchu, the Lost City
Machu Picchu - The highly anticipated day to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Board the train at Ollantaytambo station and travel to Machu Picchu station. Staff assistance will guide you to the bus ascending a winding road with spectacular views of the Urubamba River, forming a deep canyon. Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas, greets visitors with its impressive terraces, staircases, ceremonial sites, and urban areas, exuding energy throughout. After lunch, return by train and transfer to the hotel in Cusco for lodging.
Day 7: Vinicunca, the Rainbow Mountain.
Vinicunca Mountain - Embark on an exciting adventure to Rainbow Mountain, Vinicunca. Depart early by van through Valle Sur to the village of Cusipata. After breakfast, begin the ascent on a community dirt road to 4,800 meters above sea level. Start the 4 km hike, observing the distant snowcapped Ausangate mountain range. A guide will accompany the group, providing tips for walking at high altitudes. Gradually, the colorful mountain range will come into view, culminating at the observation point at 5,000 meters above sea level. The geological formations reveal their magnificent splendor. Vinicunca is a must-see attraction on any trip to Peru. Enjoy free time for photography. Later, descend along the same path.
Day 08: Farewell Day
Cusco - Transfer to the airport for departure to Lima, connecting with the return flight home.
