Best priced private tour in Lima! - Jhony went out of his way to accommodate us. He was punctual on time and made sure we stay together as group. You wont find a better tour at the same affordable price. Thanks Jhony

Fabulous Night Lima Tour w/ Maria & Diego - I unexpectedly ended up stranded in Lima overnight due to poor weather conditions in Cusco. My hotel, Wyndham/airport arranged this tour for a few of us. Maria & Diego picked us up from our hotel, taking us for an evening tour of Lima. Maria was extremely knowledgeable of the city and history, and even made dinner reservations for us, dropping us off at our restaurant at the end of the tour. It was a great way to spend 4 hours in the city.

Great walking tour! - This review is a bit late, but my mom and I had a fabulous walking tour in Lima with Milagros. She had a lot of knowledge of the city, very sweet and it was just the right amount of time.

Lima City Tour with Jhony - The guide (Jhony) was super friendly and the tour was fun too. Can highly recommend booking it. Jhony also gave us some really nice advices for the visit in Lima and he can tell you about some of the best food places as well!

Guide was great but didn't get to do everything included in the price - First of all I want to mention how awesome our guide Jonathan was. He's a great guy and it's not his fault that the tour was a bit disappointing. We didnt get to go inside of Huaca Pucllana.. I guess we were too late but then this tour shouldn't be offered at certain times (we started at 2pm). We also didn't get panoramic views over the ocean or strolled around in Miraflores. I suppose we didn't have time because we were stuck in traffic... but again, maybe tours during rush hour shouldn't be offered. There was also a souvenir included in the price but we didn't get that either. I probably wouldn't recommend this particular tour to anyone but maybe other tours of that company are a bit better?!

We couldn't find the guide - they did not have a sign for us - We booked a tour with Lima City tours in advance as we had 2 days in Lima. We did have to pre-pay part of the tour. Once we arrived at Miraflores the Cruise drop off in Lima, we couldn't see a sign with our name as promised - as we were 5 Min early we started to walk up and down and look at all the guides/traxidrivers waiting but couldn't see a sign, we waited for 2 more buses to arrive and drop off people and also were close to the bus exist - but we couldn't find any sign for us. We did not have a local phone/data plan and were unable to contact Jhnony. We did a tour with one of the locals - after being back on the ship we contacted Jhnoy right away as we also booked an evening tour and we wanted to make sure that there is really someone to pick us up, as we arrived again there was no sign, after walking around for another 10 Min my husband saw a person with a white folded paper and walked to him - sure enough that was our sign except we couldn't see it. To top it off they wanted us to pay then for the whole morning tour too. We were accused that it is our fault - as I do not think it is me to have to hold up the sign. In the end we paid still less money to take a local taxi driver who (after we talked to fellow cruise members) did the same tour as we did. Only difference is that we likely got less back ground information and history but that is not a big deal for us. And we also never got our pre-paid money back - as we got told we did not show up (but we did wasted nearly an hour including both times searching for them)

Really poor service - Booked and paid for a private city tour before leaving the UK. Communication from Jhony was good at that stage. However, we were badly let down. Failed to turn up at our hotel and could not make contact via the mobile or office numbers. We were only in Lima for a day and a half and this shoddy treatment ruined our stay as we spent almost an entire morning just waiting around. Do think twice before using this company or Jhony as they/he appear to have done this on more than one occasion - see other reviews. The only saving grace is that our money was refunded but that does not make up for the disappointment.

Lima city - Do not book. Terrible, agreed to be picked up from hotel which did not happen. Eventually we had half a trip when we found their head office and then we were threatened with the police

Tour guide never showed up - I have booked a private city tour with Jhony about a month ahead and paid a deposit via PayPal. Based on the good reviews I was looking forward to a nice tour. However, the tour guide never showed up. I tried to call and text Jhony multiple times for about an hour, then we left to see the city on our own. About 5 hours later (!) he replied and claimed the reason he didn't come was that he got robbed. While there is no way for me to verify if this is true or not, he should have notified us at least by sending a short message (unless he was unconscious in hospital, which quite obviously wasn't the case as he offered to do the tour in the afternoon, which was too late for us). I have to say that I do lots of research for each of my trips and while despite of this I did end up with bad guides sometimes, it was the absolute only time in many years of travel that a tour guide never showed up. Jhony did return my deposit eventually, but I had to remind him after a week. I guess if you fail your customers in such a bad way, you should at least quickly refund them, without them having to ask for it. The only positive thing I can say is that the airport transfers we paid for worked out, but still booking with this company was a major disappointment.
