Knowledgeable, Adventurous, Fun - Our culinary tour in Peru started with Andres picking our group of six up (we eventually became a group of 8) at the airport and taking us to our hotel for a much needed night of rest. While driving to the hotel we coordinated with him about what we hoped to do in the following days and where we had reservations. He had plenty of suggestions and really was able to get a feel for what our group was looking for making him a valuable part of our experience. Along the way he shared interesting facts, cooking tips/recipes, and was more than happy to answer any questions we had about Peru and working out logistics of certain experiences. We managed to fit in a trip to the giant public fish market at 3 in the morning! Now that’s service!! I would highly recommend booking with him.

Great Reliable Tour Company in Lima - Never having been in Peru before, and with 4 days in Lima before heading south to see the Nazca lines, we took the advice of the front desk at the Marriott Courtyard (great hotel to stay in BTW) and booked a private city tour of Lima with Discover Lima. We enjoyed the first tour so much that we arranged to have the same guide for 3 more tours. They were all well done and we left Lima with a great sense of the city and its history. We did the Lima City tour, the night fountain tour, the day long tour of the 2 museums (Larco and Archeological) and the day trip tour to Pachacamac. In particular we would like to recommend our guide for all these tours Vilko Dorsner whom we were lucky to have for the first tour and then booked for other tours. He was always prompt, very polite, knowledgeable and had many interesting facts and tales to keep us interested and amused. He went out of his way to show us extras along the way which we really appreciated. He offered many suggestions for eating as well including being able to get us a seating at Rafael Restaurant for the best meal we had in Lima. We would highly recomend using Lima Discover while in Lima.

I had booked a group tour but I was... -
I had booked a group tour but I was the only one so it was just me and my guide. The traffic was awful so the Lima part took longer than expected and Barranco was very rushed. I think only about 20 minutes there maybe half an hour tops I don't feel like I got a good look at the place. The guide was lovely he wasn't feeling well but did his best. I'd booked the English speaking option and he had advised me at the start his English wasn't too good. Because of the language barrier and the fact it was one on one I didn't enjoy it as much as other Viator tours.
