IF YOU TELL ME, I DON'T THINK SO. - A dinner, booked at 6:45, turned into an experience worth commenting on. The pisco sour, with Huarangal pisco, of an outstanding preparation. Potatoes stuffed over delicious huancaine sauce. The backgrounds: rice with shrimp and seafood caucau, gastronomic contest!! And desserts capped an incomparable dinner. We'll be back.

History and Local Food - This place is in the middle of ruins so when you are eating your amazing food you have a view you will never forget. We had potato balls with stuffed meat and yellow sauce, we had beef hearts and chicken. All the dishes here were absolutely amazing. If you love food and history this is the place to go to when you are in Lima Peru. The service was great also. And don't forget to try the cocktails.

Huaca Pucllana restaurant rents space and uses part of its income for maintenance and research of the site The meal was delicious!! There is also a restaurant with great views of the relics

Great ambience, but lackluster meal - This was a mixed experience: the food was decent, but lacking in presentation. I ordered the beef tenderloin, and the meal that arrived was off-putting in appearance. Dessert was the highlight, even though the restaurant lost our request for something special for our birthday celebration. Had we felt welcome upon arrival--why were we not offered to order a drink while we waited?--and not been asked explicitly for a tip at the end of our meal, the experience would have been much more enjoyable.

AWFUL - Please beware this restaurant is simply a ‘tourist’ trap, food is poor quality and overpriced! I visited with my husband on 24/06, we knew it was outside seating so was prepared for it to be chilly but not enough heaters to go round! The food was simply ‘mediocre’, I ordered scallops with Parmesan which was simply grilled cheese on scallops with a large pile of salt in the middle? The cheese was burnt and the scallops were so small I could hardly find them? The main was one of they’re specials, again awful and dished up on freezing cold plates so the food was cold too! My husband enjoyed his stater but left his main (tripe), again awful! The waiter didn’t even ask if all was ok or why the food was left? We asked for our bill, said we were paying cash, which we did, but he would not Lea ve until he got his tip! AWFUL
