• Balconcillo - The meeting point is the Metropolitano Estación Angamos in the Miraflores district at 11am. A bus card is not necessary as the one-way ticket is provided. Experiencing Lima’s public transportation is an adventure in itself. We will disembark at Canada Station in La Victoria and walk a few blocks to the Balconcillo market to purchase fresh ingredients for lunch. Feel free to buy some exotic fruits if you’d like (bring a few soles). We will then proceed to Ricardo’s apartment, conveniently located near the market, offering a stunning view of Lima. Helke will be there with a refreshing pitcher of chicha morada. Following this, we will prepare two traditional Peruvian dishes: Ceviche with canchita and chifles, and a classic Peruvian causa limeña. On the return journey, we will assist you in getting a cab to your accommodation or next destination.

You will meet the host at the Metropolitano Station of Angamos in Miraflores and use the public transportation to get to La Victoria, a populous district. There you will visit a typical market, cook with a couple of young limeños two traditional dishes: causa and ceviche, and share with them an unforgettable lunch in their apartment. Their apartment is in the 30th floor of a high rise building so you will have a chance to see an amazing overview of Lima, the Peruvian capital.
