A fun day out - I booked for me and my two sons, aged 15 and 11 on the day my older boy decided he didn’t want to come with us. So we did the cruise as a 2. We arrived at the port as instructed before 10 am and soon realised that being really early in the queue had benefits because we got a table with our seats. We were sat on the boat for quite awhile while everyone boarded - it’s not entirely paperless, even though we booked online, so be prepared to get there early to get the best seats as it’s first come first served - nothing is allocated. The crew were very entertaining. We were v amused to see the most colourful and smallest of all the crew arrive on the shoulder of someone on a motorbike. The food was fine but I felt sorry for parents with multiple kids, trying to manage meals on plates that really needed a table, but not everyone was able to get a table. We went swimming in the sea at both opportunities, and during our time on the boat, we were made to feel very welcome. The Pirate crew went around and spoke to all the children and some of us parents too! Using some props for a real Pirate 🏴‍☠️ feel to the voyage. We had a great day and would recommend it

Nice experience - Very good, very nice experience. The hosts are excellent. Be prepared for a day on the open sea Bring sunscreen cream. And if you get dizzy, take pills to not be so bad.

Highlight of our holiday!! - Simply brilliant!! We booked this pirate cruise for our sons birthday, what a birthday to remember!! The ship itself is fabulous and the crew were amazing. So interactive with both the kids and the adults, by the time we left everyone had scars or eye patches drawn on them! One of the pirates came round with Bella the parrot and we posed for numerous pictures with her. The kids got to drive the boat wearing the pirate hat. We were all invited into the galley to collect lunch, spag bol for the kids and pork, salad, potatoes and bread for the adults. We stopped twice to swim in the sea, what beautiful, clear calm water, if you want to ensure you have a flotation device, take your own as there aren’t many. Music had everyone singing along right until we got off the boat. This was easily the highlight of our holiday, ignore the negative reviews, it’s a shame there isn’t a plank for them to walk. Brilliant atmosphere, completely made by the pirate crew. Book it, you won’t regret it!!

An adventure for the whole family! - A really great boat trip with great impressions. A real experience, especially for children. Two stops to swim in the sea. A little tip: there are life jackets for children, but unfortunately not enough. For children who can't swim very well, it is recommended to bring their own flotation device. At the first stop, you can swim to the beach and visit a small grotto. Second stop, no possibility to swim to the beach, so we stayed on board. The highlight was the parrot. The crew is really nice and loves children. Another tip: get on board in good time so you can still choose the best seats.

Average - Fun crew, and an overall good experience. The whole activity was closer to three hours and not five like they advertised. The food was not very good but was filling. 1 euro for water, 3 euro for a can of beer, 7 euro for a tiny cocktail. 15 euros for a few pictures that they take of you in front of the boat.

Not worth it - Pros - team on board are friendly Cons - get ready for it… 1. Advertised as entertainment on board, there wasn’t any. No wait, there was a parrot, but it was just left to do its own thing inside the bar. Oh and you get to watch the crew play backgammon! 2. They advertise the trip is for families but on board they let smokers smoke wherever they want that the whole ship was full of cigarette smoke. It’s was disgusting and left feeling sick. They need to keep an area for smokers, not let them be on every part of the ship where my kid left with a nasty cough and didn’t stop coughing all night. 3. Slipped on board as they didn’t have any mats on deck after you go for a swim. 4. Only ladders to get up and down the boat for a swim - not bad - but the problem is no one to help the flow of people trying to barge their way that it took 20 minutes just to go down the ladder. Overall, it’s not worth the money. It’s a shame because it could be something enjoyable but it’s not. They clearly try to oversell the tickets which means there’s no space to really move around or get a seat. It’s filthy and sticky.

Wasted time - Pretty disappointing and boring. Exciting for the children at first but at some point the question arose, "how much longer?" Little shade, as everyone has written and depending on how the boat was going, even in the shade there was full sun. After 20 minutes we dropped anchor. Very far from the beach and the grotto. The water was very cold, so not suitable for the little ones. Of course it's not the crew's fault. There were no life jackets or diving goggles. But the spot was also completely uninteresting. No fish or anything else to see. We had to wait 1.5 hours. Then we had food, which was fine. We had drinks with the meal, otherwise it costs money. After the stop, we only drove across the sea for another two hours. At some point we were told that the town was on the left and the other on the right. Then we went back. No second stop. The crew was very sluggish. An older gentleman tried to have a bit of fun but it was rather sparse. In between we walked around with the macaw for photos and that was it. At the beginning, photos were taken, which were really cute. Cost 15€. All in all, you don't have to do it. You were glad when it was over. Wasted time and even the kids found it boring (4 years old)

Disappointing!! - Disappointing.... There was almost no sun protection on deck except in the rear part, which was of course the first to be taken. For the rest of the guests it was a trip in the blazing sun. Furthermore, there was only one swimming stop instead of two, after about 15-20 minutes of sailing. No information about the length of stay, procedure, etc. I was just about to go back into the water with my daughter (15 minutes after eating) when they said: We're moving on. The food was horrible, packaged salad (wilted) and tzatziki that tasted like sauces in well-known fast food restaurants... Crete really looks completely different in terms of taste. There were also a few boiled potato quarters and, I think, a pork chop (it tasted OK but cold). The food was "delivered" by another boat during the swimming stop. Yes, unfortunately there was no second stop after we continued sailing, we bobbed along the water for about another hour, and that was it. The only highlight for me and my family was the parrot on board. Conclusion: Never again on this boat!
