Jet Ski Tour to Balos Beach - Amazing experience as an alternate to hiking to Balos Beach. Plenty of time on the jet skis and plenty of time to walk around Balos Beach. The views on the way are amazing. The guides were clear and helpful. The jet skis follow a boat driven by the guides so if you for some reason can not continue on the jet ski they are there to take over. I highly recommend this experience, it beats the hike to Balos Beach.

Jetski safari to Balos - We had an absolutely amazing jet ski safari to Balos with my 15-year-old son. The trip was filled with fun and adventure, and we enjoyed every single moment. Special thanks to our young guide, Manus, with the beautiful eyes, who made the experience extra special. He was incredibly skilled, helpful, and had a wonderful ability to engage both adults and teenagers. Balos is an absolute paradise, and experiencing it from a jet ski was nothing short of spectacular. We felt safe and well-guided the entire way. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable water adventure.

Just Do It! - Wow! Took the jet ski adventure to Balos with my husband, and it was fantastic. The team made sure it was an enjoyable and safe experience. We had plenty of time on Balos Beach and way more fun getting there!

Unsafe activity with questionable company - It pains me to give only 2 out of 5 but that truly is fair for our experience. Communication was poor with phone calls and in app messages getting no response until 11.20pm the night before our 10am booking which really was poor. The activity was unsafe and should have been cancelled by the operator. The weather conditions were dangerous with strong winds and waves built up to half a meter. We were instructed to stay in each other's wake to make the ride easier but the conditions were far too wild. By the end of the trip the operators were so stressed out! A couple of the jetski were evidently old. The compartments take on water so don't bother storing anything. One couple who came off the craft almost lost it as the kill switch didn't work immediately. The weather conditions slowed us down so much that we didn't get to go to our second destination. An extremely expensive activity one expects so much more from.

Better be experienced - As a first-timer I struggled a bit with operating the jetski, the "guide" told me without hesitation- if you can't keep up let your son take over. Other than that, the stop at Balos Beach took only 20 minutes, that's far from enough.

Disappointing - We booked this excursion for our anniversary and were very excited for it. Unfortunately our experience was disappointing. There were three 'guides' who rode on a boat and expected our jet skis to keep up. They were were traveling very fast, and the waters were choppy so it was difficult for us to go their speed. To avoid choppy waters you need to stay in their wake, but if you stop even for a second they’re already far ahead. So our entire trip was focused on going as fast as possible trying not to fall behind and it was difficult to enjoy the moment. A couple times the guides got so far ahead that they drove back to where we were, and despite us trying our best to keep up with them without falling and making things worse, they said “we are wasting time” and need to go faster. Our speed before that was 30-50 kmh (18-31 mph), so if you’re not comfortable going much faster on potentially choppy waters twice for ~30mins non-stop, I would think twice. It also mentions that you stop at Gramvousa island for 10-15 mins, but we just drove next to it for 5 minutes max. There’s no doubt the scenery is stunning out there and you get to skip the difficult drive/hike to reach Balos. If the experience was more accommodating (perhaps with other more friendly guides), it would have been awesome.

AWFUL! Unfriendly, Unsafe, Uninformative & a big waste of money. - We as a family are very experienced on the water but this tour is NOT SAFE AT ALL !!! Awful unfriendly guides, and a complete waste of money. I’ll list what it’s really like ( ignore the fancy photos on the advertisement ) 1. No welcome smiles or anything, just handed us life jackets & told to put them on. 2. Told to leave everything behind, sunglasses & flip flops in the car ( even though there is a storage box on the jet ski) 3. Then made to walk on a BOILING hot road to where the jet ski is are ( nowhere near their hut) 4. Then had to walk on thistles & stones barefoot down to where the water was, believe me this was AGONY, we were all picking thistle spikes out of our feet. The guide then said almost smiling ‘you could have brought flip flops’ - he had literally just told us to leave them behind!!!!! I swear this is a sick joke on tourists as we were perfectly able to store them on the jet ski. 5. The slightly submerged blue pontoon that was constructed in 20BC was completely broken & impossible to walk on to get to JSkiis. 6. Barely any instructions for jet ski, just “GET ON, FOLLOW WHITE WASH OF OUR RIB & KEEP UP” 7. It was a ridiculous task keeping up with the guides who were in a rib & showing off to the bikini clad botox & boob surgery ‘babes’ they had taken with them. Unsafe from the word go. 8.on arrival we were told to go to the beach & come back in an hour. There was a small hut in the beach serving drinks & nibbles, but most of the people on the tour couldn’t buy anything as they had been told to leave EVERYTHING behind! It was SO bright on the beach you could barely see without shades which you also could have brought. 9. THIS WAS THE FINAL STRAW!!! …. everyone on the jet skis were told to leave their life jackets over the handlebars ready for our return, but once we’d turned our backs and were walking towards the beach, the two men ( can’t bring myself to call them ‘guides’, gave our life jackets to their ‘babes’ and they whizzed about on the jet skis for an hour !!!!! When we all came back they had lost a life jacket, so they had to beg another tour boat to give us one of theirs otherwise we were stuck there. 10. Honestly this is the most unsafe, unfriendly, uninformative experience we have ever had, and we’ve travelled a lot! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t waste your hard earned money on these people. They are TOTAL COWBOYS, just want your money & don’t tell you anything interesting whatsoever about the area/coastline/Bali’s beach etc. nothing. Just give us you money, keep up, get off & bugger off! 11. My son & his girlfriend had an amazing tour to Balos beach the previous year, and had a wonderful experience, sadly they were booked up so we booked this one. Terrible mistake. 12. I hope this honest review from a lovely & very capable family has saved you a big disappointment & lots of money. Take it elsewhere! Xx
