Speedboat trip to Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island - We had a great time on the speedboat tour to Balos lagoon and Gramvousa. After doing some research, I found this as an alternative option to the huge tourist boats that go from a different port across the island. We were so glad we went with this trip instead- there were 9 of us in total that day, the boat journey was much faster and going on the speedboat was a great part of the experience in itself. Also, our guide timed it perfectly so that we had Gramvousa island to explore to ourselves- before one of the much larger boats turned up and 200+ people got off and filled the island as we were leaving. There was plenty of time to explore Gramvousa and Balos, which were both stunning, and we were kindly supplied with plenty of free beer / water / soda along the way which was an added bonus! Would definitely recommend to others looking to explore some of the beautiful scenery of Crete.

The perfect trip - The entire trip was beautiful. The water was perfect, the number of people was just right, the driver was excellent. The views were amazing!!

Amazing!!! - This trip was amazing! Our driver was fantastic and very accommodating - this is the way to go for a short trip to the different beaches

Top top top - The excursion with Armando to Guide the speedboat was wonderful. Superlative sea but above all special meeting with 5 dolphins and a turtle.

A highlight of our vacation - we drove to Balos and Gramvousa in the evening and we even could watch the sunset while going back to falassarna port. The Skipper was so kind and checked if we were fine. And by the way a very nice and cool playlist of him. We felt very well during the whole tour and could enjoy it every second. So it was definitely worth it and hopefully we will join the tour with this cool skipper again.

Best Boat Trip - Balos is one of the most stunning beaches I have ever been to. It was amazing to arrive by beach and avoid the long arduous walk in and out. The Captain was charming and couldn’t have been more helpful but also very relaxed.

Gramvoussa - Balos by speed boat - We went to the island of Gramvoussa as well as Balos by speed boat. It was a great experience. The person who accompanied us on this activity was extremely kind and we felt very comfortable from the beginning to the end of the excursion. We even had the chance to come across sea turtles on the way back to port! We recommend with your eyes closed.

Highly recommend! - Captain was great and tour was amazing. Gramvousa was our favorite and going to this small port is much easier to meet in and less chaotic than the larger port every other boat tour leaves from.

Scary - The waves were too bad to be on a speedboat. It was a dangerous situation. Not everyone had physical seats .

Drove across the island just to show up and then Cancel on US! - Looked forward to spending a day on a boat to go to Balos with my wife on our anniversary trip decided to give this a shot. We are staying in Chania so had to arrange an expensive/long transfer to the harbor to get onboard the boat. When we drove 2 hours to get there they let us know when we got there that they canceled due to weather. However it is not the fact that it was the weather I get that it’s a safety issue. It’s the professionalism of not looking at the forecast before and letting guests know ahead of time. We arrived to find two other families that endured the same experience our previous captain let us know the night before not as we track across the whole island finally arrive and oh looks like the weather is bad sorry guys! We did receive a refund but it ruined our day. Crete is a windy island and if you book with this company make sure you don’t drive all the way out there before they cancel on you!
