Like time travel - Absolutely excellent! The Angela's Ashes walking tour effectively time-travels the participant back to the Limerick of McCourt's youth and indeed an earlier chapter in recent Irish history. The guide, Joe C., is as knowledgeable as he is passionate about the matter. Highly recommend to the book's readership!

Recommend, especially if you have read Frank McCord’s book about life in 30’s thru 50’s in and around Limerick+ - The tour guide was very knowledgeable and always had some piece of information to tell about the characters in the book, but also about the history surrounding the area as well. All questions were answered. Nice easy walk walk. This young man will make an outstanding hospitality host!

One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland - Cayleb was a wonderful tour guide. He relayed interesting stories about Frank McCourt and the city of Limerick. It was informative and entertaining. Cayleb was a great conversationalist and was patient in answering all of our questions. Even after the official tour was over, he was kind enough to walk us to a location that helped us resolve an internet access issue with my cell phone. An overall lovely experience.

Great Day in Limerick - Katelyn O’Dea was our tour guide for a marvelous 2 and a half hours in Limerick. Not only did she make Frank McCourt’s book come alive, her enthusiasm for Limerick and it’s history was contagious. She’s amazing and her tour was insightful. You’ll be wise to request her when you book this tour. The Peoples Museum on Pery Square houses a few of the Angela’s Ashes memorabilia and is worth a peek.

Really grand! - It had long been my dream to see the places that Frank McCourt described and it was all the better for having a knowledgeable guide to help me do just that. Tadhg O'Brien was excellent, very kind to phone beforehand to make sure I could find the meeting point, he even had a spare umbrella for me! He is a great storyteller, he knows what he is talking about, a very good choice it was. Really recommended!
