Incredible wildlife experience - Danny was an absolutely amazing guide and was incredible at spotting the wildlife. We had an incredible day. Also recommend a trip to the BriBri indigenous cocoa plantation very small intimate experience and an amazing way to learn about the local indigenous people. Highly recommend this tour.

We didn’t go…but are still happy. - We didn’t go… They showed up on time to pick us up. They were very nice but told us that due to weather having turned the ocean foggy, we probably not have a great time snorkeling. They offered to either give us a full refund or to take us to various other sites (volcano, a waterfall, etc). We’ve already seen the places they were offering so we opted to take the refund. It took two days but sure enough, the full amount refund hit my account this morning. So while we didn’t get to snorkel, I truly appreciate their honesty instead of taking us out for what would have been a bad experience.

SPECTACULAR EXPERIENCE IN CAHUITA - Today we enjoyed a spectacular experience in Cahuita. The deal has been fabulous: Marvin has looked after us wonderfully during the snorkle and Luis has been watching over us while we were at sea and has been a great Guide on the park trail, teaching us in detail sloths, snakes and spiders. Thank you to Carlos for his attention and sympathy upon our arrival. Unforgettable. A highly recommended option if you want to know the Cahuita National Park

Fun adventure - This tour was fantastic! Our personal guide Nicole and our driver Jose met us right on time, and took us to the lovely town of Cahuita. Our boat took us out for three different snorkeling sites, gave us a yummy snack of fresh local fruit and how to eat them. Then we have a wonderful walk back through the national park we’re Nicole helped us identify many animals, plants and insects. She was full of helpful information. Next we stopped at a local soda shop for lunch. (Just a crossed from the sloth sanctuary. And had our first traditional CR lunch. AMAZING and a great price. And we ended our say with a short guided tour of Limon where Nicole and Jose told us about their town. This tour is worth doing again.

Fantastic Wildlife Spotting Tour in the Cahuita National Park - Thanks to our great tour guide Rosa and our friendly driver José, we had a lovely day in the Cahuita national park. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful coral reef as well as the lush rainforest. Rosa has a knack for finding animals in the jungle. She helped us spot two-toed sloths, howler monkeys, a raccoon, a branch-mimicking snake, the Blue Morpho Butterly, and other animals.

Fun tours and great guide that made the best out of bad weather - We didn’t get to go snorkeling because once we got off the ship and met our tour guide Rosa, she informed us that the rain and wind wouldn't make it possible to snorkel that day. So she offered us a full refund or said she could take us to other tourist sites. In reality, we would have liked to of known this before we got off the ship so the 6 of us could have had time to think about what else we wanted to do and dress differently but that’s the only negative point I had. So instead she showed us how they make chocolate, a gorgeous waterfall (too cold to play in unfortunately), a banana plantation, and a walk in Cahuita National Park. So all in all I think we saw some great sites for a day with crappy weather. Would definitely book again!

Wonderful guides, bad company - If it hadn't been for our wonderful guides, Fiorella and Yiyi, I would have rated this company lower. The company refused to cancel the excursion when the sea was choppy and cloudy. Our resort told us that the companies they used were canceling because of weather. I didn't go because of the small boat they used and the weather. Fiorella, the translator, stayed with me and was very kind and accommodating. Yiyi went with my husband and granddaughters. My husband snorkeled for a few moments and decided it wasn't worth it because of the visibility. The girls, who have snorkeled in Hawaii, toughed it out. Although the bravest of our granddaughters used her life vest as a floating device. They went to two places and at the second place the girls did see a stingray even with the merky water. The trip through the national park was good they said. Yiyi pointed out many different animals, even a viper that looked like a worm. He and the girls were able to communicate even though he spoke limited English and they spoke limited Spanish. He took pictures and gave them to the girls, which was very kind of him. They had a wonderful time. On the way back to our resort Fiorella, who stayed with me the entire time, mentioned an ice cream shop that was off the beaten path. We went there and enjoyed some wonderful ice cream. Made a lovely ending for a mediocre trip. I also need to say this was our most expensive excursion for less time and more disappointments.
