- Cahuita National Park - The Jungla Trail offers 2 kilometers trek through a secondary forest offering beautiful landscapes, flora and fauna, and including many opportunities to see the remarkably fascinating different frog species of Costa Rica, for example the red dart frog (dendrobates pumillo), howler monkey, white face monkey, the two species of sloths and more! Inside the trail, among the abundant fauna visitors may witness the 3 toed sloths and see the different species of birds: Toucans, Oropendola, Tanagers, Hummingbirds, kiskidees and much more, squirrels, and the majestic butterflies that swarm through the trail.

Great Day - Great Day..waterfalls are beautiful and loved that we got to swim right up to them. Our guide, Ian was so smart or courteous. We saw so many animals at the park and had a lovely seafood lunch over looking the ocean (lunch cost not included) recommend this tour.

A great day trip! - Rosa and Jose were fantastic. They tailored the tour how we wanted and were incredibly friendly. A wonderful trip to the Poas volcano, the Paz waterfalls and Starbucks coffee farm. Highly recommend this day trip from San Jose.

Great time despite the rain! - Great time at the waterfalls and hiking! Saw sloths, snakes, birds, raccoons, frogs and so much more! Had an awesome time in the rainforest

Rainy but did not disappoint! - Had some rainy weather but made the most out of the day!
GG and Mary were great. Mary was very knowledgeable. Learned much about the local flora and fauna.
Saw some amazing wildlife and a mama two toed sloth with her baby just outside the park. Swam in the waterfall also. Van was warm and dry!
Stopped for lunch in town and was delicious. Muchas gracias!

Cahuita guided walk - A great trip through the national park with our guide Riy, she was great at spotting the animals and had lots of information and knowledge about the plants, the area and the animals. I would recommend using her as a guide 100%

Guided tour to see the animals in the natural park. - It was a great experience, the Risheylin guide was very professional and showed us a lot of animals that live in the area and explained very interesting things about plants making us taste some tropical fruits.
I absolutely recommend the guide if you want to see and learn about the animals that live in the nature reserve.

Risheylin - Risheylin was great!
We had the experience to see 6 sloths, raccoon, and other animals. She told us lot of details also about plants and other animals.
She can speak Spanish and English perfectly!
I really recommend her.

Great excursion - We had a great time filled with great memories. The relaxed walk in the beach sanctuary and the waterfall swim made this excursion one of the best ones we have done.

Worth the visit and f you don’t mind all the tourists - It relatively not a big park, only one trail and lots of people.
All those noisy tourists wanting to get a close up with their phones scare away the wild life.
Having said that, this natural piece of land is full of beautiful unexpected flora and fauna, critters all over and guides are knowledgeable.
It’s not that far from cruise terminal in Puerto Limon and locals are very friendly and polite. Beware though of locals asking for a tip to use side of stalls to take pictures of sloths.
Beach is beautiful, but water can be rough and often closed for swimming. Photo ops are amazing.
