The Guide made the Difference for me. - I really liked our guide. He used visual aids in teaching us about Costa Rica. I am not an auditory learner. I really appreciated the alternative teaching tools. It made it memorable for me.

Great tour of Costa Rica! - We throughly enjoyed our day in Costa Rica! It was easy to find our group at the cruise port terminal, and the bus was cool and comfortable. Our tour guide, Ariel, was amazing! He gave us an overview of the country on our ride to the rainforest, and guided us through the forest and pointed out all the wildlife and flora along the way. He has an eagle eye for sloths and monkeys and we saw many! The rainforest was followed by a banana plantation tour, which he led wonderfully. It was hot but so interesting. The day ended with a boat tour of the Tortogua canal, where we saw more sloths, monkeys and other wildlife. It was an amazing day and I would recommend this tour to anyone with a day to spend in Costa Rica!

Great guide! - Highlights of Limon, Costa Rica. Best tour in years. Alberto (Beto) as guide is high energy and extremely knowledgeable about the country, quick on his feet to answer questions and displays excellent sense of humor to boot. Bus driver Charlie an excellent partner. Thank you Greenway Tours and Vacations to Go!

A walk through a rainforest. - We had a very enjoyable rainforest tour with many sightings of the slouth monkeys and other animals. When the rain came the guide was quick to provide ponchos for all the participants. He was very effective in using a laser pointer to point out the wild life located in the trees. There were restrictions regarding banana plantation visits, but the guide showed us a flower and all of the baby bananas in it and explained the steps involved in harvesting bananas. We loved the trip.

Very Enjoyable Day - Greenway was accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and did not rush us throughout the tour. We did a rescued a sloth, went on nature walk, boat ride, ordered fresh seafood soup, and learn about bananas !!! Great day. I would not hesitate to book through Greenway!

Good Tour! - We walked through a beautiful rainforest with a knowledgeable guide. It is really beautiful. It is amazing to view the growth of all the plants and how thick and plush the rainforest is. We saw some lovely birds, monkeys and sloths. We learned a lot from the guide about the country of Costa Rica. This was an interesting tour.

A Walk on the Wild Side in Cahuita National Park, Costa Rica - Knowledgeable guide and excellent driver. Enjoyed nature walk with a small group. Sorry we did not visit a banana plantation...brief discussion as we drove past plantations on way to nature walk. Perhaps that was all that was needed!?!

Expectations' were not met! - There was too many cruise ships at the same port, making the shore excursions very crowded. Park walk was very busy and not enough time to see animals before having to move. Guide tried his best to point out sloths, monkey's and snakes but alway had to hurry. Banana Plantation was just a small (small) area of plantings, not worth the long bus ride.

BE AWARE. CHARGED MY ACCOUNT even though I called and cancelled. Said I was no show. - I did not go on this tour. Review is for Viator. I booked on line January 9, but changed my mind and called Viator and cancelled 2 days later. I booked a different tour for the same day with another tour company in Costa Rica. When I got back from South America on February 16, and I was able to retrieve my emails, I found that they had charged my credit card account $190 as a "no show" for the tour that I cancelled a month earlier. They "said" they had no record of my cancellation. [What ever happened to "the customer is always right?" Because i know that I am. They refuse to credit. BEWARE that they do this.
