In front of Puerto Limon cruise port
Meet us outside the port in Puerto Limon, around 150 to 350 meters (160 to 380 yards) from the ship towards the Vargas Park. Please walk from the ship through the crosswalk and souvenir tents until you see the public street after the exit gates. Your guide will be holding the logo RELAX DAY TOURS.

Excellent and easy tour - Everything was flawless, from the pickup to drop off at the cruise port. We were a party of eight which was so nice when you consider the option of the cruise ship tours with a full bus load. Gary was a fount of knowledge. I can’t say enough.

Fantastic tour - interesting sites and an amazing guide! - This tour was fun and informative from start to finish. There were many interesting stops - a chance to taste various fruits and see and learn about native plants, a roadside stop to see a two-toed sloth, an informative tour at a banana plantation, a boat cruise, and the beach. Larry our tour guide did a fantastic job. He was personable, funny, entertaining, attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and happily answered all our questions. The bus was comfortable, and Eddy was an excellent driver. The boat captain, Carlos, was well-informed, personable, and capable. He went above and beyond so we could see as many things as possible. At the beach, we had the chance to take a dip in the water and enjoy lunch (at our own cost). The food was delicious. I highly recommend Relax Day Tours, keep up the excellent work, it was a real pleasure to tour with you.

This tour packs in a lot... - This tour packs in a lot but still never felt rushed. Our tour guide Larry was fantastic, imparting a lot of history and facts about Costa Rica while keeping things light and humorous. This tour far exceeded our expectations.

Great tour of Puerto Limon! - This tour was awesome! Our driver, Eric, and our guide, Larry, were so polite and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make sure that we were provided opportunities to see many animals that were native to Costa Rica. Larry was enthusiastic about showing us the natural plants that people used for medicinal purposes. We learned so much! I would recommend this tour with Larry to anyone!

Tortuguero beautiful channels explosion of fauna and flora, incredible habitat. Its super hospitable people. - The canals full of flora and fauna, alligators, howlers, basilisks, aningas, etc. Super commendable even though it's not the season for turtle disobe.

A lot packed into this fun and diverse excursion with knowledgeable guides! - Several stops on this 3-4 hour tour make it a bargain - our guide JC was very knowledgeable and Fabian provided stressfree transportation in a comfortable vehicle. The Tortuguero Canal boat ride was great - no guarantee of seeing animals of course, but the boat pilot was very experienced and knew exactly where to go! The only downside is that I didn't listen to JC when he said at Playa Bonita to eat from the buffet if you are going to eat, and that there is a 10% tax on everything. I ended up eating my food in the tour bus because it took forever. I enjoyed all the stops and definitely recommend this tour! No stress at all in getting back to the ship in time. Thank you for a great day in Costa Rica!

Puerto Limon Bonita Beach tour (from the cruise port) - From the cruise port in Puerto Limon, we (approx 20 cruise ship people) met our tour guide Larry and boarded a small, yet comfortable, bus. It was an awesome tour lasting about 5 hours. We visited the city, banana plantations, church, countryside market stop and Playa Bonita Beach for a drink and something to eat. Larry was an awesome tour guide and really entertained us and enlightened us regarding life in his country. I highly recommend this tour

Pura Vida Costa Rica - We had a great shore excursion tour in early March with Relax Day Tours. We chose the 4-hour Around Limon Tour with Larry our tour guide and Giovanni the bus driver. It was a nice group size of about 12 on a comfortable small bus. We visited a beautiful church in Limon before heading out to the countryside to a fruit stand, banana plantation, the Tortuguero Canal boat ride and the Playa Bonita Beach. Larry was so interesting with a wealth of knowledge of flora and fauna. Both he and Giovanni were excellent at spotting wildlife along the ride. The boat ride was amazing with all the wildlife viewing of monkeys, sloths, a caiman, and lots of birds. We were glad we chose them and definitely would recommend them.

Outstanding in every way - Our day was fantastic and so much fun. Our guide Larry was so knowledgeable and entertaining. Our driver Giovani(?) was incredible at spotting wildlife, both driver and guide were top notch. Pickup was easy and we could find Larry quickly and as expected. One of the highlights was the boat trip, where we saw lots of birds, sloths and iguanas. The time spent at Playa Bonita was very relaxing.
This was a great excursion and it exceeded our expectations from start to finish, we saw a lot of things a were dropped off back at the cruise terminal with plenty of time to do some shopping. Thank you to all the team at Relax Day Tours for this wonderful day. 5 stars+!!
