Cahuita National Park - Cahuita National Park is a terrestrial and marine national park in the Caribbean La Amistad Conservation Area of Costa Rica located on the southern Caribbean coast in Limón Province, connected to the town of Cahuita. Cahuita National Park is unique in Costa Rica for its close relationship with the community, an example of shared management between the community and government for a sustainable development at community level. Participation of park guards and community life stands out through a shared governance management.
In this ecosystem, nestled in the Caribbean but with forest environment, you will find species such as raccoons, sloths, iguanas and basilisks. You will also notice snakes like tinsel and tamagá, and birds like the black hawk. Inside the park it is possible to perform recreational sports and hiking the trails, or simply enjoy the beaches swimming or sunbathing.

We loved the river ride. ... - We loved the river ride. We did not care for the national forest hike so much mostly because it was so hot but we did see sloths and other wildlife. Our guide was great.

Highly recommended trip where you can see and experience a lot. - If you are only in Costa Rica for one day, you want to see as much as possible. The 6 in 1 tour is ideal for this. The tour was well organized, the English-speaking guide was very easy to understand. We saw a lot of animals and plants!

Green Way Highlights of Limon, guided by Ariel. - Excellent small group tour. Our guide Ariel was very friendly and knowledgeable, his English is excellent. Had a disappointing experience at the ice cream parlour at the entrance to Cahuita, exorbitant prices, handed over 5 dollars for a really small tub of ordinary gelato. Turns out, it was 7 dollars and the obnoxious server refused to give the money back! Anyway, Ariel stepped in and solved the problem:))

Enjoy an interesting adventure in the tropical settings of Limon. - Our tour guide Alberto did a great job.
At every section of the tour, Alberto explained many things while we were driving, then, during the riverboat ride, we enjoyed seeing things that we had not seen before.
The tour of the organic coffee, banana, cacao plantation was very interesting and instructive.
Also, in the national Park we saw many more examples of wild life , and enjoyed an easy walk along the strand and under the canopy of trees.

Lots of sights packed into one tour - A lot of sights packed into one tour! Driver was great at spotting wildlife (sloths & giant lizards) and even stopped to get a banana flower. Who knew bananas grew like that! Guide was great, lots of information. Rain forest was pretty good (it's easily accessible so lots of people), the banana plantation was fascinating. It was more of a demonstration plantation than a working plantation but better for it. Los of different types of plants (cacao, paprika etc). The river cruise was ok, would have been better but boat broke down (not Greenway's fault). We still saw a lot f birds and an alligator.

disappointing tour - Boring tour. The tour guide said there was a tour inside the church. There wasn't. The church was boring. The kids were cute singing but not a fun destination. The plantation tour and food was mediocre. My jerk was chicken was all bones (a neck piece) and the pork was half fat. Very disappointing tour. I expected some scenic points and there were none.
