Amazing Tour with Katherine and Gigi - We had an incredible experience touring Cahuita National Park and the Jaguar Rescue Center with our guide, Katherine, and our driver, GiGi. Katherine was a fantastic host—warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. She shared so much about life in Costa Rica in a way that felt natural and engaging, Her passion for the country, its wildlife, and culture really shone through, making the experience even more special.
GiGi was a wonderful driver—safe, professional, and always pleasant. Together, they made our day unforgettable. If you’re looking for a well-organized, fun, and insightful tour, we highly recommend Katherine and GiGi. They truly made our trip one to remember!

Wonderful - Katherine our tour guide is amazing very friendly she put us at ease right away narrating the different stories of Costa Rica and share some of her personal and family stories.she stopped at a local shop to get us to try some patties that was excellent we got first a tour of the Jaguar rescue center which was amazing and we did the Cahuita reserve with plenty of different animals and a magical scenery. It was raining nonetheless it was great. Rain or shine the visit is excellent. Thank you Katherine and Gigi our driver

Talk to the animals?just imagine it! - The Jaguar Rescue without a Jaguar. But there is a reason. And the stories Lizie told really made the trip worthwhile. Many rescues. Each with their own name and story. French, German, Spanish, and English tours. Lizie even talks to some of the animals . Everyone is excited about being there. Truly, Dr. Doolittle meets the modern world.

Great Day in Costa Rica! - Alicia was a delightful tour guide! We booked a small group tour, but, we were fortunate that it was just our party of four (so we had a private tour), We had a great day at the Jaguar (by the way, no Jaguars) Rescue facility and learn how they rescue so many different animals and they help rehabilitate these animals to be released back into their environment. We especially enjoyed seeing the Sloths. Alicia also took us to the National Park where we saw monkeys and sloths in their natural surroundings. The beach was very pretty and we also got a tour of the city. I would highly recommend asking for Alicia and her driver for your tour.

An amazing and must go experience - This was an absolutely fantastic trip to see not only some animals native to Costa Rica, but be taken around by knowledge, friendly and fun volunteers.
The centre provides healthcare, rehoming and rehabilitation as well as education for about the animals in their care.
The importance of the centre cannot be understated and the need for people to come and learn about the animals and work is necessary.
There are animals I have never seen before and I feel so privileged to have spent my time there. It was fun, informative and I encourage you to visit.

Rescue Center and Nature - We had a great time with Jose our guide and Jose our driver 😊 they both had the same name.
We arrived with TUI Cruises and Meinschiff 1. Our pick-up was directly in front of the ship and easy to find.
The rescue center is definitely recommended. You will see monkeys and Sloths, a lot of birds and other animals. As it is a rescue center it's not guaranteed what animals you see.
The national park was another highlight where we saw howler apes, sloths again, a snake and others.
The tour finished with a great local lunch which we highly recommend. The lunch was not included in the price but really good and not expensive.

Best Day Possible! - We had the most amazing day with our incredible host Fiorella and our awesome driver Yiyi. There local knowledge and flexibility made our trip! Nothing was too hard. We loved Puerto Viejo and Coahuila National Park.. We saw Sloth, Monkeys, Snakes, Iguana, racoon, turtles and even a crocodile! Thank you for providing the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica

Amazing and so personal to our requirements - We loved our trip with our tour guide Fiorella and driver Yiyi as we went on a journey through Port Viejo and Cahuita National Park. We went shopping, got some gelato and ventured into the national park. We were amazed to see a mother and baby sloth, sleeping in the trees, monkeys, a snake, a raccoon and a crocodile. We have had a personalized trip which we have loved. Will definitely use SyL Travel again!
