Very nice day tour with 3 Things to do. - Very nice tour with the great tour guide Thomas. The city tour, the gondola ride and the boat tour were very interesting, the schedule was kept very well. The latter two Things to do must be paid for in cash.

Excellent day trip to Venice - We have recently enjoyed a day trip to Venice and would fully recommend. The coach arrived on time, it was very clean and air conditioned. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. Everything went very smoothly. We arrived at 11.30am and had a boat waiting to take us over to Venice. After departing the boat, we had a 45 minute walk with our guide passing by all the major sights and then we had until 4.45pm free time. We booked a gondola ride with our guide on the coach on route to Venice. The cost was €35 each (cash only!!) which we felt was well worth it as again, this was all arranged for us, all we had to do was make sure we arrived at the correct location at the correct time. If you are looking for a hassle free day trip to Venice that gives you a flavour, I would fully recommend.

Day trip to Venice from Lake Garda: Good. - Day trip to Venice from Lake Garda for 22 August 2024. Pick up on time. Distance between the parking lot, where the coach drops the tour and the boat to central Venice is about 4-500 meters. Keep this in mind if any difficulty in walking. Walking tour with the local guide was good as well. Our tour guide, Gabriella and the coach driver Massimo were excellent. We took the Lagoon boat trip which lasted 1 hour was nice but the the commentary was difficult to follow as it was difficult to hear from where we were sitting. We had a comfort break on both the journey. Bit tiring as the whole tour lasted almost 13 hours, but one have to visit Venice at least once if you are in this region of Italy. Would recommend this trip but keep in mind if your mobility is not very good. Venice is not very friendly for people with poor mobility.

All good. Apart from the guide! - This did not start well. 5 minutes before we were due at the coach pick up point (7.40) my phone rang at 7.35 and a man's voice was shouting 'where are you, where are you' we were literally 3 minutes away and he roared that they cannot wait. I said give me five mins and we will be there. He then suggested it would take more than 5 minutes 'to come out from the bed' Anyhow we arrived at the bus to more aggression, threats of police due to waiting in the bus stop, more people to collect etc. WE WERE NOT LATE. HE WAS EARLY. We had a nice trip after this although I couldn't converse with him all day after that, he came across as very unfriendly towards us. We booked a boat tour then cancelled it as I didn't want to be around him. His passive aggression didn't sit right with me. Venice is a beautiful city, but the crowds were hard work and you must be very protective of your possessions due to pick pockets. Previous trip to the Dolomites with Helena was fabulous, both driver and guide were excellent, friendly and very professional. Really enjoyed it and both trips were well worth the money.

Just one cornetto - Pricey, extras either/and gondola or boat trip. Went for boat, had poor sound system and was quite hot by pm and it gets slightly tiresome listening for dual language info most of the day. Ice cream at mister sandwich next to realto and nearby pizza takeaway were good. A bit of a tourist trap of a place, some side streets had interesting small shops
