A mere stone’s throw away from Nairobi’s bustling center, this six-hour exclusive tour whisks you away to Kiambethu Farm in Limuru - a serene backdrop showcasing the lifestyle of settler agriculture. Nestled at an altitude of 7,200 ft, Kiambethu was purchased and cultivated by AB McDonell in 1910. He pioneered the commercial growth, production, and sale of tea in Kenya – a staple product that is now one of the country’s major exports and which you’ll get to sample. The farm has been home to five generations and is currently managed by Fiona Vernon, his granddaughter.
