International Bomber Command Centre - Upon arrival we were welcomed by friendly and knowledgeable staff who advised us as to what the venue could offer. We decided to take the full walk around the story of bomber command and not only were the displays and information excellent but the short films really explained how and why this memorial centre exists. The site itself was very clean and well maintained and a great tribute. At the end of our walk around we thought we’d try the on-site cafe for food and drink. Instead of a sandwich or jacket, we both went for full English breakfasts and were not disappointed with the quality. Highly recommended.

Breathtaking Lincoln views and experience in history - What a wonderful experience and unbelievably friendly staff and service crew. The gift shop was incredible with small and intricate jewelry, fashionable shirts, and lovely trinkets. The prices were very reasonable. The café where we had a very lovely coffee and conversation was quaint with great views even on a rainy, windy, cloudy and cold Lincoln day. My son enjoyed the tour even though the weather was poor. I highly recommend this center and the great charity work they do in the community. We plan to be back again soon to see Susie, Sue and a gentleman whose name escapes me. Love the visit.

Poignant and Interesting Visit - An informative and poignant visit. I was amazed it has taken so long to have a proper memorial to Bomber Command. We did the free tour which was excellent and really added to my understanding of what Bomber Command did. The guide was very good , I cant remember his name but he said he used to work in Poole so hopefully if he reads this he will recognise himself ! The exhibit was very good and gave the story of World War 2 from both the Allies and German viewpoint. The cafe and shop were also very good. A must do when visiting Lincoln

Everyone should visit - This is the tribute to bomber command that should have been built many decades ago, instead of successive governments ignoring the price they paid for our freedom. Regardless of your current views on the subject, please do go and find out exactly what those brave men went through to give us the life we have today - I would strongly recommend taking one of the excellent free tours led by a volunteer, we have done this three times now and they have all been very interesting and moving. Stand at the foot of the huge spire (the height is that of a Lancaster bomber’s wing span) and look out at the view of the cathedral, one of the last landmarks the crews saw when leaving on a mission, and a very welcome sight when they returned - IF they returned. Then go and read some of the names on the memorial walls surrounding the spire, and spend a few quiet minutes thinking about the fact that those are the half of them that did not return. The grounds are beautifully kept and free to visit with only a small charge to park; the museum costs a few extra pounds but gives you an annual ticket and is informative and interactive, well worth it if you have time - and the cafe does a lovely breakfast or Sunday lunch and great coffee and cakes. You won’t regret spending the day here, you’ll only wonder why you never came before. Just do it!

A long overdue and fitting tribute to all those who served in Bomber Command - A very long overdue memorial to the men (and women) of Bomber Command. The guide we had was very knowlegable and made th evisit a personal experience that we will long remember. The memorial itself is simply stunning, particularly when viewed with Lincoln Cathedral in the distance.

Well worth a visit - The memorial garden is free, there is a charge for the museum and for parking. I did the free tour which was interesting. Overall it was well worth a visit and seeks to correct the biased view that some sources have presented of Bomber Command.

A highly recommended visit - My wife, Molly our Cocker Spaniel and I had a wonderful day out at this wonderful centre. It was well worth the trip and we were made to feel very welcome. Our tour guide Barry was excellent and very informed. He helped us find my wife's Uncle's name on the wall of remembrance, and the whole atmosphere and content was very poignant and one of long overdue respect and commemoration. We would highly recommend a visit and learn more of their sacrifice, and the tone is just right. The cafe is also very good and highly recommended. The centre is dog friendly, although you can't take dog's in to the exhibition, which is understandable and we took it in turns. Great day and thanks to all the staff for making us (and Molly) so very welcome.
