• Lindos - With a history spanning 5,000 years and a labyrinth of white cubic buildings, Lindos is a distinctive mosaic village featuring archaeological sites, captain’s houses, pebbled streets, donkey rides, shopping, culinary and art experiences, rooftop restaurants, bars, cafes, nightlife, beaches, and St. Paul’s Bay—the spot where St. Paul arrived to preach Christianity on Rhodes. Lindos exudes a cosmopolitan vibe.
• Kolympia - The Seven Springs Oasis, situated between Kolympia and Archipolis, is a refreshing and enchanting landscape where water flows year-round from seven springs to form a lake. For the adventurous, reaching the lake requires walking through a very dark, narrow tunnel that accommodates only one person at a time. This 186-meter (610-foot) tunnel, built by the Italians in 1931, takes about 5 minutes to traverse before emerging into the light. The Seven Springs remains a true oasis even during the hot summer months.
• Archipoli - Archipoli village and Saint Nektarios Sanctuary. Archipoli is a small, cozy, lively, and traditional village with charming shops and cafes. Surrounded by a rich natural environment, the invigorating mountain air is scented with ancient pines. We stop at one of the local charming tavernas for a full lunch and drinks. We also visit Saint Nektarios chapel, adorned with stunning icons and frescoes. This picturesque sanctuary, renowned for its beauty, was built by a couple in gratitude for their son’s miraculous healing.
• Valley of the Butterflies - Our final stop is the enchanting Butterfly Valley of Rhodes. With dense flora, breathtaking natural beauty, bridges that blend with the environment, paved paths, ponds, and small waterfalls, this location is a haven for nature lovers and the contemplative. The only sounds are the chirping of cicadas and the cool running water. Serenity at its finest!
