• Spinalonga - After gathering all participants, the journey will begin at Elounda Village port, where the group will board a boat to sail to Spinalonga, the last leper colony in Europe. This island, located near Elounda, was originally fortified by the Venetians in 1579 with a fortress boasting 40 cannons, and it features some of the best-preserved walls in Europe.

  From 1903 to 1957, Spinalonga served as a leper colony, providing residents with improved living conditions, medical assistance, and economic support. Visitors can explore the ruins of the market street, shops, hospital, and the small houses where lepers lived in isolation.

• Elounda - After departing Spinalonga Island, there will be free time to explore the charming village of Elounda or enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters of Elounda Bay.

• Agios Nikolaos - The tour will continue to Agios Nikolaos, a town with 14,000 residents, situated on the Gulf of Mirabello. At the heart of Agios Nikolaos is Lake Voulismeni, likely formed by an earthquake.
