Our journey includes a visit to the Cathedral, the Basilica of Santo Antonio, the erstwhile prisons of Aljube and Limoeiro, and the quaint courtyard of Carrasco. Here, we’ll delve into the life of Portugal’s final executioner and visit the iconic viewing spots of Santa Luzia and Portas do Sol. Following this, we’ll explore the São Jorge Castle, learning of its history, Portugal’s inception, the city’s conquest and the captivating Middle Age love story of Pedro I and Ines de Castro. Our excursion concludes with breathtaking city views from the viewpoints.
