Wonderful day trip. - We went on the private tour with Helena and had a wonderful time. The first winery we stopped at (Ervideira) was outstanding and we even got to pet a donkey! Evora was beautiful and the tapas lunch was very tasty. We had a great time talking with Helena and even when we were stuck in traffic she made it fun. A really enjoyable day!

A must do! - We had the pleasure of experiencing this company for the second time, as we are true wine aficionados. Having already explored the Setúbal and arrabida wine regions, we were excited to discover wines from the Alentejo, and once again, this company did not disappoint. The two wineries we visited were outstanding, and the history behind Evora was fascinating. The Chapel of Bones was an unexpected but very interesting addition to the itinerary. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the wineries to the cork factory visit, making this tour truly worth it. It’s clear that the company takes pride in offering a well-curated experience that blends history, culture, and exceptional wine.

Amazing day outside of Lisbon! - This tour to Évora and Alentejo Wines was unforgettable! Starting with a fascinating visit to a cork factory, we learned so much about this unique industry. Exploring the center of Évora and the hauntingly beautiful Chapel of Bones was an amazing cultural experience. But the highlight for me was the winery visits, both offered exceptional wines, with the Reds standing out as my personal favorites.
Our tour guide was truly spectacular, so knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate. They brought everything to life and made the whole day seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a mix of history, culture, and incredible wine!

Fantastic day with an excellent guide! - We had a wonderful full day in the Alentejo with Ricardo. We enjoyed lovely wine tastings at family wineries, learned about local wine production, and had a super interesting visit to the cork factory. (Buy your cork products there rather than in Lisbon!) He adjusted the itinerary a bit to our interests and helped us to get a taste of the local food, drink, and culture. We would absolutely tour with Ricardo again.

Above and Beyond! - Excellent! Our guide, Ricardo, was great! He is knowledgeable of the area, flexible, and entertaining. We felt this is the only way to go. Have your own guide with just a few people. Ricardo had some great suggestions that made the trip very enjoyable. Thanks!

Dynamic tour - A wonderful tour departing from Lisbon. Our guide, Helena, was lovely and knowledgeable and served as the perfect guide. We toured two wineries - one large and one small. The best part of the trip may have been the small town near the border of Spain that we visited for lunch. We also visited a medieval city overlooking the region with a fantastic view.

Lovely way to enjoy wine and the countryside - Such a wonderful break from the business of Lisbon. The family winery was wonderful, the restaurant for lunch (get the chickpea stew), and the traditional tile factory for authentic tiles. Ask for Helena; she’s the best!

Fabulous Day Trip to Evora - We had a fabulous day touring the Evorian countryside with our guide, Ricardo! We stopped at two very different wineries (Ervideira & Vinhos Calisto,) had a fabulous typical lunch in Mourao, Adega Velha, walked the town of Monsaraz and made a quick stop in Evora to see the Roman Temple to Diana. Our tour guide was fun & knowledgable! Definitely a day we'll remember forever! Thank you, Ricardo!

Great day visiting another part of Portugal - Had a very good day with Nuno visiting Evora and the Alentejo area. Began with a stop at a cork factory to learn how cork is harvested and worked in products. Visited a winery for tasting 3 wines, but no tour of cellars. Had a delicious lunch at the restaurant recommended by Nuno. We viewed the Roman ruin and visited the medieval church. The afternoon winery visit took longer than expected as we were put with another group. Altogether it was nice to get out of the city and Nuno was very accommodating to our wishes. FYI the drive to Evora takes around 90 minutes from Baxia area.

Historic location, coupled with two wine tastings - The history of the area described in the local Evora museum gave us a better perspective of the region and the many tribes that once swept over it in conquest. Worth 2 hours. We skipped the church and the shops to have more time.
