Awesome day seeing landscape outside of the city - We had a wonderful full day with Joao! He was so informative, and energetic and took us to places we would never have had an opportunity to visit ourselves. Our family enjoyed the day thoroughly. I highly recommend booking this tour with him.

Fabulous chance to experience the beauty of Portugal - Jaoa was very informative and kind as he took my adult daughter and me on a lovely tour of the countryside and small towns. The scenery was spectacular and he gave us some time to absorb it. We loved visiting the large indoor market, taking in breathtaking views while in the park and at the Cabo, the visit to a tile making workshop, and the wine tasting. We enjoyed a delicious lunch - got the cod special. Jaoa is a very safe driver and shared his wealth of knowledge and love of his country with us.

João will go the extra mile and great communication - We booked this tour and Joao was our tour guide he is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and sets priorities for his tour members. We arrived just a day before our tour and did not have any euros and the store would not take my credit card he offered to take care of it until I could pay him back.

Profesional and warm guide - Joao was very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. He took us back to Arrabida on the way back home because the weather was not permissible in the morning. The tour is private hence everything is following your pace, very recommended! Even added a short stop to a tile factory because we loved it. Arrabida is a very beautiful destination perfect if you want to seek out pretty landscapes.

Fantastic tour - Our guide Joao was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed many pleasant conversations about the sites we were visiting as well as Lisbon in general. We booked another tour with him to see Lisbon.

BEST tour ever!! - This has been one of the greatest tours we have been on. Our guide was fantastic. Besides picking us up from our hotel in a private vehicle, he explained in detail the history and important facts of the places we visited. Being very fluent in English we could understand all the information and this contributed to a much more seamless experience. Joao is very kind, respectful and down to earth. He was in contact with us before the tour even started and he was very accommodating when we asked to include certain stops during our day. Being a private tour, we could benefit from a personalized experience which was made even more special with memorable photos which Joao generously took of us. If I could give a higher rating for this excursion I definitely would! Besides from having a very reasonable price for a private experience, one gets to see the beautiful Arrabida from a local’s perspective. Best possible guide - Joao (John) is amazing. If you want a suit and tie with a mercedes guy--he is not the one. Everything was very casual, changes or additions were "No problem", He is personable, fun, and so very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed talking with him on the ride and especially at lunch for the 2 days we were with him. He knew all the best spots for views and ocean and eating and gave us so much information about living in and enjoying Lisbon. We have no plans to be back but we would tour with him in a heartbeat if we came back. He is a gem and we encourage anyone but the most formal visitors. he was kind to us "old folk" and made it easy for us to take in the scenery we most wanted while accommodating our pains and other minor infirmities.
