A very worthwhile tour - This was a great tour, with only ourselves and one other family on it. Our first stop, at the Belem Pastry, was wonderful because the shop had just opened and it was alsmost empty. The guide was excellent, giving a good overview of the historical signficance of Jeronimos, pointing out relevent details to keep us interested. The walk to Belem Tower was at a nice pace and we were able to learn some of its history before walking to the Discoveries Monument which was actually quite close by. I highly recommend this tour because we got so much more out of the sights than had we been on our own, and we had minimum time spent waiting in lines.

Gorgeous - Mostly original walls and sculptures, well preserved monastery building is just as beautiful inside as it is on the outside. The stained glass windows were destroyed in the earthquake which would’ve made it even more beautiful. Cannot miss this visit!!!

Excellent Value/Best Way to Make Use of Time - Andriy was an excellent, knowledgeable guide who communicated well and told us much about the area, apart from the highlights described in the overview. He guided us through the throngs of tourists, magically procuring Pasteis de Belem and telling us the fascinating story of their origin. At the Jeronimos Monastery, we were among the first to be led in, despite the lineup. What a time saver! We used the Lisboa Card for entry which covers many sights, including our transportation. We loved hearing about the architecture. There was a refreshment/bathroom break which was also appreciated. We continued to the Belem Tower and the Monument of Discoveries where Andriy’s knowledge allowed us to understand what we were looking at. We were also led to Bordalo II’s Big Raccoon sculpture which was mesmerizing. This tour allowed us to make the most of our limited time in Belem and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic water tour of Belém - We had a great time despite the time it was raining, Ricardo, our guide explained it to us with a lot of dedication and admiration knew what he was talking about, he lived it as if he had been in that moment of history and I also moved to that moment, which is what it was about, GREAT COMMUNICATOR 🔥🔥

Monastery is a must-see! - This walking tour was really nice! The meeting point is super easy to locate. The guide, Rui, was helpful by sending us a picture of himself and the meeting location. First we stopped to try a delicious Belém pastry. Then we went to Jerónimos Monastery, which is truly spectacular. You need to buy tickets for the monastery ahead of the tour (this is not included). Then we walked to Belém Tower. Don't buy tickets for this--you won't be going inside on this tour. I would have liked to linger here a bit longer. After that, we walked to a nearby monument. Nice way to spend 3 hours!

A great visit but long - Andre was very knowledgeable. He gave us a thorough tour of the monastery. I appreciated that it was a small group and we were able to move fast. The other two places we saw on the tour were also great but he spent a little too much time extending the tour. When we got there he said it was 3 1/2 hours and it is only listed as 3 hours. It went over the 3 1/2 hours and we had to leave as we had somewhere else to go
