• Miradouro de Santa Luzia - From this viewpoint it’s possible to see Pantheon and the church of Saint Stephan. Towards the river there is the pink building of Museum of Fado and the church of Saint Michael. In Tagus banks there is the modern Cruise Ship Terminal.

• Graca & Sao Vicente - Graça is characterized by its historic architecture, with old buildings and typical Portuguese tiles. The narrow, winding streets add a unique charm to the neighborhood, creating a warm and picturesque atmosphere.
  Graça neighborhood has always attracted street artists, but the year 2021 witnessed the explosion of this type of urban art. Street art lovers will find in Graça an exceptional agglomeration of street art works, notably artists Vhils, Shepard Fairey, Add Fuel, Mário Belém, Oze Arv, Sphiza, among others. A tuk tuk ride is the ideal ways to explore the Graça neighbourhood, in the alleys where tram 28 and buses cannot enter.

• Cidade Baixa - Baixa, the city of Pombal, is the flat area of Lisbon that starts at Squares of Rossio and Figueira to the north and extends south to Square of Commerce where the city opens onto Tagus river.
  Baixa Pombalina is contemporary with St. Petersburg on the Neva or Washington DC on the Potomac, but unlike these cities that were built from scratch, this is the reconstruction of a pre-existing city.

• Miradouro da Senhora do Monte - From the viewpoint of Senhora do Monte, there is a panoramic view over the city of Lisbon. Looking towards the river Tagus, the hill of the castle of S. Jorge is a must for visitors. The flat area to the right of the castle hill is Baixa, the area rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake and bordered by Rossio and Figueira squares on one side and Praça do Comércio by the river. Further to the right we have Chiado, with the ruins of the Carmo Church and Santa Justa lift. Further on, we can see the 25 April bridge and Christ statue.

• Chiado - In the 50 meters restricted to cars at the top of Garrett St there are several establishments that, a century ago, already had the same name and the same decoration that you can see today. Start by going to “Paris in Lisbon” to do your shopping. Then cross Garrett St for a coffee at Pastry shop “Benard”. Further up you will find another pastry shop, “Brasileira”, which was frequented by the poet Fernando Pessoa, who is immortalized in the bronze statue. Between the two pastry shops is the Hotel Borges, the oldest in Lisbon.

• Miradouro Sao Pedro de Alcantara - Each major viewpoint of Lisbon (Sao Pedro Alcântara, Senhora do Monte and Santa Luzia) has each one it’s own fan club, each one is outstanding, but São Pedro Alcantara is my favorite. From Sao Pedro Alcantara Viewpoint, you can get a “postcard like” view over old Lisbon.

On the top of the confronting hill you can see Viewpoint of Senhora do Monte and after that, left to right, there is the imposing convent and Church of Graça, the the pinnacle of Pantheon, the twined towers of Saint Vincent, Saint George Castle and in the far right, the Cathedral. Santa Luzia viewpoint and Alfama cannot be seen because they are hidden by the castle.
Closer to the viewpoint there is the quarter of Mouraria and the valley represented by Avenida da Liberdade.

According to the atmospheric conditions, time of year and even time of day, S. Pedro Alcantara offer different and distinct views. In sunny days, the best view is offered one hour before the sunset when the castle hill appears illuminated.

• Torre de Belem - Belem Tower is the lonely sentinel of the city of Lisbon. Built on the right bank of the Tagus as a defensive structure, it has been welcoming during the last 5 centuries those who enter and leave Lisbon by sea.
  Built between 1514 and 1519 (architect Francisco de Arruda) it is the jewel in the crown of Portuguese architecture. The style of construction is Manueline as can be seen from the exuberant decoration in elements of nature.
• Mosteiro dos Jeronimos - The construction of the Jeronimos Monastery began in 1502 and lasted for about a hundred years. The architect who conceived the original project was Diogo de Boitaca. Like the neighboring Belem Tower, the architectural style is Manueline, characterized by exuberant decoration in elements of nature.
  The Jeronimos Monastery is the symbol translated into stone of the Portuguese epic in the 15th and 16th centuries. It was chosen by king Manuel as his eternal resting place, as well as his descendants.
