Intimate, cultural experience - We were wanting to learn more about Fado and this experience did not disappoint. Anna was a great tour guide and showed us some interesting places along the walk. The restaurant was small but it made the experience more personal. I recommend this for music lovers and anyone interested in learning about Portugal culture.

Nice evening of Portuguese culture! - Quaint Fado restaurant, delicious apps, and wonderful entertainment! Besides 2 guitarists, there were also 2 talented singers who captured the art and soul of Fado. Thank you to our host/guide who made it a fun, engaging and enjoyable evening out!!

Fantastic music and food - As someone with sensory issues I was dreading the but it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. The music was full of emotion and you don’t have to understand Portuguese to enjoy it. Mohamed, our guide was fantastic, explaining everything we needed to know not only about the music but the area as well. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Fado Experience - Muhammad did an amazing job, from finding us at the meeting point to walking with us to the Fadon House. The appetizers were all delicious, but the best part was the music. Wasn't sure I'd like it since I don't speak Portuguese, but the music was beautiful. You don't have to understand the language to enjoy &;appreciate Fado.

Lacklustre disappointing experience - We weren't told there was a 30 minute walk - wore unsuitable shoes, 2 had to drop out due to bad knees. Fad9 was in Alfama where our hotel was but we weren't told this and had to go quite a long way to the meeting point, only to walk back to Alfama. The food (cheese, ham, chorizo) on arrival was already out on the table (for how long before us?) and the bread stale. Wine was awful. The guide was lovely and it was not her fault but for over £60 it was very disappointing indeed, a birthday surprise for my friend gone wrong. You can buy a ticket for 29 euros at a venue near the cathedral

Not on my list of things to recommend - The music was nice the location good and tour guide ,Muhammad, was excellent but, perhaps because I don't understand the language I didn't get it. 2 hours was way too long for the tour. In my opinion it's not worth paying for this tour, I heard beautiful Fado singers while I was walking thru the town. This not a tour I would recommend

Not worth the price - This wasn’t what I expected. I didn’t realize our guide and other people who purchased the tickets would be having dinner with us. It was very expensive for what was offered: bread, cheese, olives, chorizo, and cod cakes. They charge for water. 8 of us were crammed into a very small space, in a very small restaurant. The guide was very nice but this experience was not worth the price.
