Countryside get-away - Evora is a wonderful little gem, and I am so glad I got to see it on a day out of Lisbon with Paulo. Weather cooperated which was grand but it would have been a nice tour even if the weather was not on our side. Arraiolos was quaint, delightfull, and authentic with little of the tourist shops and bricbrac.
Evora seems to be visited by the large tour buses but they did not visit inside all buildings, which were quiet and less crowded than the streets.
I can recommend this tour to escape the crowds of Lisbon, even in shoulder season.

Evor - Started off a bit bumpy as the instructions for meetup were not clear. Instead of a ‘flag with the company logo on the vehicle in the parking lot in front of the cinema’ it should have said ‘a sign with the writing ‘Road Trips’ in the front window of the vehicle in a parking space in front of the theatre’.
Chapel of bones, old dwellings, small, old, towns, close up of cork trees and some other interesting sights.
The guide was a friendly man and willing to help.
