I loved it! - I enjoyed this tour a lot: the wine tasting in Azeitao; visiting Setúbal and Arrabida. Amazing views from the mountains. Perfect for a sunny day! I definitely recommend it. Andre was a very good guide!

The sights of Portugal - Our van trip was amazing. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun. We had only 6 people in our group and the pace for the day was perfect. My daughters really enjoyed the winery tour and the sheep cheese at the bakery. The beach was lovely and the drive into the mountains had amazing views. I would definitely do another tour!

A must when visiting Lisbon! - An absolute must when you visit Portugal!! I’ve been to portugal about 10 times already, but this time we wanted to do things a bit different and do some tours and wow was I blown away! We did the Arrabida tour which took us to Azeitao, Setubal and Arrabida. The owner and our guide, Felipa, was an absolute pleasure to be with. She had so much knowledge to share, was super fun to hang with and made sure we had a fantastic day! She picked us up and dropped us off, which was so convenient, especially because we had a one year old with us. She had a car seat ready for him and everything! The places we went to and the food and wines that we tasted were phenomenal. I highly recommend going on this tour and spending the day with a Portuguese person!! Will def have to try their other tours next time!!

One of the best tours we’ve ever done. - André is one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. He’s lovely, warm and entertaining. He knows so much about Portugal and history. The pace of the day was great. We never felt rushed even though we did a lot of things. The wine tour, the cheese, the cuttlefish lunch, the beach, and the views all exceeded our expectations. André loved what he does and we were lucky to get to tour with him.

Exploring hidden gems - Filipa was an amazing host during our tour. We enjoyed our pastry, buttery sheep cheese, farmers market, wine tour and tasting, and seafood lunch by the river. The tour of the beaches and mountains was an added touch. Highly recommend this company and can’t wait to return to try other options available!

Great day out - Great day out. Filipa is super friendly. She had many stories about local customs and interesting places and things to tell and show us. Fresh seafood in one of the villages was amazing. Gorgeous views all the way. Next day we met her in Sintra and she recommended a place for lunch, where food and atmosphere was the best!

PORTUGUESE FOR A DAY IS THE BEST - My wife and I are fortunate to be able to travel in Europe and we stay away from long tours, preferring to schedule our own day trips. Portuguese For A Day is the best day tour company we have been with. Andre [ one of the owners]met us promptly for the trip and was a perfect guide for the day.
He has very strong feelings about his country. That shows with his general narrative about the places we went to as well as his thoughts about living in Portugal.
He had planned everything to make sure that we had a memorable day.
The time flew by and we felt we had a new good friend.
The end of this tour just meant the promise of another one with him 2 days later.
You can do your own research by searching for "Portuguese For A Day" on You Tube and watching his co-owner wife give an interesting talk about Portugal.

Very nice - We went with our guide to drive to several great locations that are less well known. All the locations were either interesting or beautiful. We went to an amazing bay and had some really great fresh fish which we saw beforehand in the local market. The guide knows a lot about the area and always has something interesting to say, asking questions is recommended! As well as taking the tour, I mean come on it's rather cheap!

It was okay... - Our tour guide was absolutely amazing. However, while I had a good time I think for the price this tour is a little underwhelming. You drive to cafe to try patries, then walk through a fish market, go to a winery for 30min, get dropped at a beach for lunch and then stop on side of a mountain to take a picture. All of these things really can be done on your own for much cheaper. The guide really made sure we were comfortable and engaged with everyone. But if I could do it again I would have skipped this tour.
