• Colares - Next, we travel to Colares, just 8 km from Sintra, for a wine tasting at the Adega Regional de Colares. This is the oldest wine cooperative in the country (established in 1931) and accounts for over 50% of the region’s total production. It also plays a significant role in the local economy. The wine cellar’s interior is breathtaking due to the sheer size and number of barrels it contains, where the aging process occurs.

In addition to wine tasting and sampling, you can also join a guided tour of the interior to learn about the process, its history, and what makes these wines so unique.
