Awesome and Authentic - The total experience was memorable! Chef Jose was very knowledgeable about Portuguese history, culture and traditions. The food we prepared was not only delicious but representative of the country and he immersed us in hands-on experience that was totally fun! The wine flowed freely and we enjoyed the company of other participants. We will forever treasure the memories of this night!

fun evening! - Wonderful evening with great food, plenty of wine and a generous and kind host. We learned some interesting things about Portugal, its cuisine and the wine regions. And walked out with a new favorite dish to cook and eat at home! Our host could not have been kinder or more generous. Highly recommended for a night to remember.

Great experience for true foodies - This was an amazing experience that true foodies should do if you want to experience Portugal at its best. Zé is an awesome host and made the evening a wonderful event that we will not forget. The food and drinks were truly extraordinary and authentic but the being in his home and hearing all the stories was just wonderful!

Don’t miss this cooking class with Zé - We had such a wonderful time at Ze’s. He taught us how to prepare some of the typical Portuguese dishes. We prepared some starters and also codfish. He is an amazing chef and host. We felt like eating with a friend. Planning to go back soon!

Unique cooking and wine experience. - Meeting Ze and learning why he cooks. Learning simple authentic meals. The wines were amazing. Ze was very knowledgeable about Portuguese history and foods. He was open about his philosophy of cooking, and sharing some tips.He was also very warm and welcoming and made us feel like family.

Ze is ze best!!! - Ze is a charming and knowledgeable host. He gives a thorough history of Portugal through the story of food and family. Everything is delicious and authentic and cooked with love and care. It was unique to be welcomed into a private home and we guests feel privileged for the chance to be in a local and typical home. Thanks Ze!!!

Thoroughly enjoyable evening dinner - This was Amazing and one of the highlights of our trip in Lisbon!! We received meal that we were able to assist in preparing hosted by an incredible chef. Ze is funny , interesting and a fount of knowledge in both cooking and the history of Portugal. He was an excellent host who took his time to allow us to thoroughly enjoy our meal. We also enjoyed sharing the evening with two other couples. I would very happily recommend this experience to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Fun night out - We had a nice time cooking with Ze, and the food was great! However, it's been a couple of weeks, and we haven't received the recipes yet. We have reached out a couple of times with no response, which is disappointing as I would like to recreate the meal while it's fresh in my mind. Hopefully we will get it soon.
