Our journey start at the charming Praça do Comercio: stroll and relax in one of Europe’s most historic “Café restaurante”, established in 1782! Taste distinct Portuguese wines from various regions—six in total along our tour (enough to keep the happiness up!)—paired with 11 delicious petiscos. No need for dinner afterward, I guarantee it!

Great experience - Enrico offers a great perspective as he is a winemaker and very knowledgeable about food and wine. The venues he chose were excellent and we got a chance to taste his quality wine. We had a small group and the entire experience was well worth it.

Best! A highlight! - Wow! This was fabulous! Such a highlight and so much better than i could have hoped for all because of my food limitations. ENRICO made it a TOP experience! He catered to our tastes. We we t to places we probably would never have discovered on our own. The food, the wine, the atmosphere, the storying and background all enhanced with stimulating conversation that made us feel like we discovered a new friend. Even the art studio stop along the way in Alfama all made for a very special and most enjoyable evening. Highly recommend this evening with Enrico. Don't hesitate, book it!

Six Stars Sip Tour!!! - This was, hands down, our best tour during our time in Lisbon. Why? It’s not just a wine tour - it’s amazing wines, delicious local foods, an engaging host to add local culture and history…all set in establishments that share the love for wine/food/culture, and have been in business for generations. Top highlight of our time in Lisbon. - I highly recommend the Portuguese Wine and Food Experiences through Enrico and Sip Wine Tours. My family of eight adults thoroughly enjoyed his 3-hour Walking Food and Wine tour. We visited three small, family-run restaurants during the tour. Each venue had amazing food prepared and ready to serve as we arrived, along with several fantastic wine pairings at each place. (During the tour booking process, Enrico even ensured that each venue prepared one gluten-free and one vegetarian dish to accommodate two of our family members). Enrico took great care in explaining each dish and thoroughly described the various wine pairings. Throughout the night, we had entertaining conversations with Enrico on wine, food, culture, and history.
Enrico is passionate about food, wine, and Lisbon, and loves to impart that passion to his guests. He has a breadth of knowledge that he gladly shared throughout the evening, along with his engaging personal stories. By the end of the evening, not only did we have a very memorable experience, but I felt like we gained a new friend in Enrico. This tour was one of the top highlights of our week in Portugal.

Divine Food & Wine! - This was absolutely the best tour we had in Portugal! Enrico was incredible! He was knowledgeable, entertaining and the most fabulous host! The wine, the food, the stops we made! OmG! Please do not miss and I hope you meet up with Enrico! Every stop was great but the one with Armando at A Muralha was divine! Incredible and unforgettable experience! - Enrico provided an exceptional wine tour experience for my family's inaugural visit to Portugal. His meticulous attention to detail and extensive knowledge of various wines truly elevated the overall experience. The tour was both educational and enjoyable, thanks to Enrico's expertise. Additionally, our dinner at Murahala restaurant was fantastic, with impeccable service. The surprise Fado performance added an unforgettable touch, making it a night to remember. Wonderful evening in Lisbon - The evening with Enrico was phantastic! He is such a dear host and guide. Great locations, food and wines. The variety made the difference and Enrico had all the answers. We had so much fun and a wonderful small group to be with.
Would recommend 100%.
To have the details and surprises you should experience it for yourselves.

Highlight of our Lisbon visit- Enrico knows his food and wine- experience like a local. - The highlight of our visit to Lisbon was experiencing this food and wine tour with our educated guide Enrico. We were paired with one other couple from the US who became quick friends with our shared passion for food and wine. We met at the oldest restaurant in Lisbon right off the main city square. Enrico sent advanced text making it easy to connect in our meeting spot. He brought two bottles of white wine for us to taste along with some appetizers at the restaurant at our private outdoor table.
From there, we walked into a charming local neighborhood we would have never found on our own. Enrico clearly knew the owners, and from there, he opened 3 bottles of stellar red wines and they began bringing plates of Portuguese cuisine for us to sample. It was more food and wine than the four of us could finish. We shared laughs and life stories about travel/food/wine from our travels around the world.
The evening ended with our 87-year-old maker (in pictures) who had us sample her homemade Ginjinha (a Portuguese liqueur made by infusing ginja berries in alcohol). She served them in eatable chocolate shot cups. What an experience, and unexpectedly delicious. Thank you, Enrico, for making the connection with Kelen and Marcelo who live in NJ. We had so much fun our evening with you, we reconnected in Porto for another two dinners together. Your recommendation of Manels was the highlight of our culinary dinners in Porto. This tour is worth every penny and more. Please support Enrico by booking this tour as you will not be disappointed. He speaks fluent English, and you will experience Lisbon like a local.
