Great way to see Lisbon - We heard that we needed to watch out for pickpocketers on the street car, and maybe we were just lucky, but there was no problem. The line was long and it was confusing as an American tourist to figure out if we were even on the right tram. It turned out to be a really cool experience! Get a window seat, take in all the beautiful city views and enjoy the wild ride. It’s loud and bumpy and fun! The tram goes through some narrow streets and gets so close to the old buildings! Lisbon is safe and loaded with charm.

Great overview - An easy way to see a broad sweep of Lisboa and decide where to go back to for a deeper dive. Narration was very good.

Discover Lisbon - Good idea, allows to discover Lisbon and especially to have explanations in French. Give ideas for tours. The tram ride is very friendly. The staff is very attentive to their customers.

The route got much shorter - Last year the ride was amazing but this year we are disappointed. Last year it lasted for about 1h20min. This year only 30-35 minutes. For the price of 25€! Last year the starting point was Praca Martim Moniz and end point - Praca do Comercio. This year both points are Praca do Comercio. The route is much shorter. We haven’t seen half of what we did last year. The company should have reduced the price at least. I recommend checking the route and the length of the journey with the conductor on the spot before you pay. The internet info is incorrect. Even their website says it is 1h.

Disrupted journey - Unfortunately there was a problem about half way around our trip. We ended up having to leave the tram and walking back.

Ehh… - Tram was. Dry crowded, and our driver was very rude. Didn’t go the entire route, as half of the line was out of commission.

Give it a miss - This was not so good. You cannot get down anywhere. By the time you try to click photos it moves on. So should give it a miss.

In need of Maintanance! - I gave my elderly parents two tickets as a gift for the their first-time trip to Lisbon. My own memory of Tram 28 is wonderful. Sadly, this was not the case for them. Multiple ports for the audio did not work, and they were unable to listen to the commentary during the tour. Instead, the guide / driver tried to shout from the front what to look out for when they complained about the audio ports being defective, but obviously this is not ideal, and they were unable to hear him. For the price of this offer, this felt like being ripped off. Let's maintain the tram so that everyone can benefit from this premium service?

Get out!! - I took the 4:00 tour and 5 minutes into the tour, there was a blocage on the road. I was told it might be long and I should get out of the tram. I was not offered an alternative arrangement. My flight was the next day so I couldn't catch a different tour. I contacted the company to have a refund and I received a vague email that they were looking into the situation. A week later, I sent a second email and still have no response or refund.
