Great value, and a great way to see Lisbon! - We chose this tour because we wanted to experience an overview of the city by riding around. We got that, and a lot more. The explanations that were provided during the tour were very informative, and we were able to hop off and visit the sights that interested us as we got to them. The boat ride was relaxing and beautiful, and we really enjoyed that. When we bought the tickets we were informed that they also gave us access to public transport. This was unexpected, but it was very convenient and useful! Not only did this allow us to ride on the famous historic #28 streetcar, and funiculars, but we could just jump on any of the busses/trams as we moved around the city. We loved our Yellow Bus tour and felt like it was well worth the price!

Good First day Orientaion - The YellowBus was quite good. Very good descriptions of sites. There are 2 routes plus the Yellow Boat tour. It is great for the first day orientation. The main Pickup point is right in the center of the Old City. I would recommend a 24 hour pass. The stops are somewhat difficult to locate if you decide to hop off, visit a museum then walk to the nest stop. The stops are far apart and hard to locate. The Lisboa Card offers more flexibility plus free entrance to many museums and travel on all public transport, Free commuter train trip to Sintra, is a must see. However no guided descriptions of sites.

Just a "so-so" experience. - During the bus tour, the driver and the male talked nonstop! Never offered nor could I locate earphones. We sped by all but 1 stop and only slowed down enough to pick up a rider. The bus itself was modern and clean. The boat tour was fine. Older, but fine. Because it had rained before our tour started the outside seating was wet. There was no effort by staff to wipe the area of water or the black oily exhaust deposits from the disel exhaust. That said. I have beautiful pictures of the places I had interest in seeing from the water- so I am happy!

Shame the Driver, Not Pro - Overall well, the hearing aids are good and so are the explanations. What is noteworthy is that the driver who touched us on Wednesday, October 16 at 9:00 was totally disrespectful, got confused in person and started challenging us... totally inappropriate, should be talked to with the customer, ruined our day

Unhappy and disappointed when doing the river cruise due to tour guide and sales girl - We bought a 48 hour ticket for the yellow bus and boat cruise. The bus was very nice and far more informative than the #Grayline in Porto. When we went on the cruise we were standing in the hot sun queueing for about 40 minutes before they allowed people to board. By this time there was a very long queue. About 15 minutes before boarding a tour arrived and when boarding started they said we should wait for the tour to board first. There is no signage saying that so I told them “NO!!!” Or refund my money now!! The tour guide had me by the arm pushing me until I told him not to touch me. (I am a woman in my late sixties) and this is the respect he showed. Everyone in the queue was very angry and the man in front of me in the queue said as a senior, he will not give way for this young tour. So much unhappiness to the extent that it seemed a fight would breakout. The captain then told the tour guide everyone should board at the same time.

Viator was less than... - Viator was less than helpful when attempting to switch my day for the ride. Initially I was told it was sold out for the day I wanted to switch to, then I was told that my only course of action was that viator could attempt to reach out to the tour operator to see if they would allow the switch. I was also told that if viator did this, there was guarantee I would get a response. Additionally I contacted the tour operator through the viator app to request a switch. This was around 11am… in the app it noted that I should receive a quick reply… I did not receive any reply until after 3pm… the bus stops running at 5:30.. so my family and I lost an entire day.. including the boat ride which we planned to take on the Monday I wanted to switch to since they only offer the ride on Mon, Wednesday and Friday..we had an all day excursion planned for Wednesday and leave from Lisbon on Friday. A side note.. when the tour operator responded back.. they let me know it wasn’t a problem to switch and apologized for the delay.. but the apology fails to make up for the day we lost.
