Walking Food & Wine Tour of Lisbon - We thoroughly enjoyed our food and wine walking tour of Lisbon with our guide Sophia. We visited several local establishments and sampled pork sandwiches and beer, pastries , seafood( cuddle fish, sardines, clams, cod cakes) breads, cheese, and a lovely tomato soup. The tour included local wine and ginjinha. Not only did Sophia teach us about local food but she was an excellent historian and brought us to many local sites in the area. She was friendly , knowledgeable and engaging and even provided an umbrella when we were caught in a rain shower.

exploring the real Lisbon with Angelo - Our tour with Angelo was wonderful, he listened to our requests of seeing the local side of Lisbon and enjoying Portuguese food. He showed us many aspects of Portuguese life as well as introduced us to Moorish, Indian and Italian fusion foods The history of Lisbon was fascinating as told by Angelo. He was so passionate about his city that we were all enthralled and so happy to be learning more about this wonderful country . He speaks very good English and was willing to answer all of our questions. I would highly recommend Angelo as you next guide.

Walking food tour of Lisbon - We had a truly wonderful experience with Angelo , saw places that we did not know existed. Got a history lesson on Lisbon and Portugal and learned so much. Our food pitstops were where the locals eat which is always the best to experience the true cuisine of an area. We were beyond stuffed with the amount of food we got. No hesitation if in Lisbon book Angelo for the tour more than generous with all the time he gave to us , so if you want to find out about life, culture past and present look no further.
