Great Experience - Excellent tour with a guide (Daniella) who was quite knowledgeable about the food and the history. She was incredibly enthusiastic and charming, and she also accommodated the dietary restrictions of two of the six members of our group. The only drawback of the tour was its significant cost (slightly more that 200 Euros per person), but we thought it was well worth it.

Fantastic foodie experience! - This was one of the best food and culture tours we have experienced. Dani’s warm, fun personality, knowledge of Portugal’s history and cuisines, as well as Lisbon’s cultures, traditions, and terrain, made the tour dynamic and fascinating as well as delicious. We enjoyed all the food and drink and the venues we visited. It was a terrific representative sampling and enjoyable walk. I wouldn’t recommend the tour for people with mobility disabilities or young kids, but everyone else should sign up with confidence. We went on this tour our first day in Lisbon and it made a great orientation.

My first food tour - Our guide, Pedro, was funny, passionate, and a good historian. Each chosen dish had a story of history, tradition, and current society of Portugal. The food was all delicious and my favorite was fresh out of the oven nata. Basically melted in my mouth. I didn't realize that Portugal is such a multicultural society. I was glad that the tour covered Alfama a lot. I learned a lot about Alfama. I thought enjoyed the food and stories.

Great! - Great job with providing us with a blend of traditional foods along with the cultural background of each area we visited. All questions were answered knowledgeably and helped us to understand the city and country we visited. We would recommend Taste of Lisbon to anyone visiting the area!

A fun and educational Lisbon tour...not just food! - Dani gave us a wonderful time with a diverse set of tastings, made even more enjoyable by relating the history of the food and Lisbon neighborhoods where we visited and by her personal stories. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, new or not, to Portugal and/or Lisbon.

Top Food & Culture Tour in Lisboa - We have never done a food walking tour so didn’t know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. Daniel, our guide, was charming and knowledgeable. We had some lovely tapas and drinks that we had not tried before. The walk took us through some interesting areas of the city, rich in history and culture. Daniel kept us entertained with interesting facts relating to historical Lisbon, as well as Portugal’s colonial past and politics! We felt he was very much on our wavelength (despite 30 odd years in age difference).

Great food tour with Pedro - We had a very varied over three-hour walk in central Lisbon with knowledge of Portugal's history at various stops and 6 tasting stops: 1. Ham & cheese with cornbread and quince jam with port in a delicatessen 2. Bacalhau croquettes with tomato rice and vino verde 3. Bifana sandwich and beer 4. Ginjinha liqueur from a charming 72-year-old owner in a mini-bar we would otherwise have walked past 5. Mozambique samosa with hot sauce - extremely delicious in a shop that has existed for over 40 years 6. Pastel de Nata & espresso in an old confectionery Our guide Pedro was a walking history book and full of little anecdotes. The alley with murals of fado artists and local residents, which are often forgotten, has also particularly appealed to us. We got many more excursion tips from him beyond the tour. A 💯 % recommendation - the tour is more than worth the money.

Fantastic eating and drinking tour of Lisbon - Pablo makes this tour fantastic. He is smart, knowledgeable, very funny and quick, and even musical. Do not eat or drink beforehand (or after)! There is more eating and drinking than walking, but Pedro also adds much Portuguese history to the tour, always with a sense of irreverence.
