Great day seeing some out-of-the-way gems of Portugal - This was an awesome way to see some less crowded, less highly touristy spots. The views were wonderful, we enjoyed each stop and our driver/guide Tomás was so friendly, helpful and informative.

Relaxing combo of less-visited areas. - Thomas was a great guide for the day! He was kind and engaging. This tour takes you to a variety of stops off the main tourist routes. The 360 degree top-of-the- world views from the castle were amazing and required just a few steps since we were dropped off right there. We went on a Monday and there was no one else there. So historic and peaceful as we enjoyed the magnificent view. After seeing beautiful tiles on so many buildings in Portugal we were delighted to see how they are made. We had lunch in a beautiful, quiet beach town. This is one very long lovely sand beach and just a few people walking or swimming. Was great to take in a smaller less touristy town. The view of Lisbon and its magnificent bridge from the bluff is amazing when visiting in the awesome Christ statue. 100% glad we spent the day on this tour! Thanks Thomas!

Fun day, but some things to be aware of - We did a full day jeep tour for Sintra’s historical sights. It was a nice tour to see the beauty of Sintra! I have a couple of thoughts though: 1) the jeep tour pictures advertise an open top jeep. Due to local regulations, they jeeps must remain covered now. It’s still open air, but the top of the jeep is covered. 2) the tour doesn’t get front of the line access to any of the monuments. We have to stand in line just like everyone else doing tours and enter through the same way. They do try to take us to the less crowded ticket machines, but no front of the line access. 3) I wish they would tell us to buy entrance tickets beforehand online to save the group time. We probably spent an 45 min-1 hr for the whole day waiting in line for tickets or to enter the sights. Overall it was fun and I loved seeing Sintra though and felt like Wonder Van did a great job.
