Stop here for a moment and turn around to view the iconic mural called “Peace Guard”. You can’t miss it. Position yourself so you have a good view over it.
Of all of the street art, all of the murals, and all of the art that can be found in Lisbon, the artwork in front of us is the closest to what can be called an icon, or a landmark.
It was done by the American artist Shepherd Fairey, also know as Obey Giant. Earlier in the tour we saw another work of his that he did in collaboration with the Portuguese artist VHILS.
