Lisbon Beyond the Beaten Path - Teddy is not your average tour guide—he’s a storyteller, a spiritual guide, and someone who truly opens the door to the hidden soul of Lisbon. Through his incredibly passionate and engaging storytelling, you’ll walk the narrow streets of Mouraria while learning about fado, the deep meaning of saudade, local food, immigrant communities, and a few hidden gems I won’t spoil here. Most importantly, you’ll meet the people who make Lisbon such a rich, layered, and eclectic city.
If you want to escape tourist clichés and take part in a tour that actually gives back to the community—standing against gentrification and mass tourism—do yourself a favor and don’t miss this experience. It’s meaningful, eye-opening, and unforgettable.

Best Lisbon tour - One of the best experiences I’ve had while travelling. Hands down. Teddy is super friendly, open, knowledgeable, grounded, has a contagious laugh and a natural talent for connecting with people and making a tour unforgettable. But to be fair, it’s more than just a tour. It’s a truly authentic way of immersing yourself in Lisbon’s history, hidden gems, and places you wouldn’t necessarily go to, or even find on your own. We had great food, great music, amazing views, and met great people along the way (everyone knows Teddy, haha). I cannot recommend this experience enough.

Learn about Lisbon’s culture through a multicultural lens - This is hands down the best tour I’ve ever done in Lisbon. Calling it a “tour” feels like a disservice because Teddy gave us a full on experience, from taking us to different multi-cultural food and live music spots, showing us very local areas, amazing view points, and less touristy parts of the city. We visited the south Asian and African neighborhoods of the city, discussed how migration patterns have left an imprint on Lisbon’s culture, tourism’s impact on local life, and how Portugal has evolved throughout history. We even went to an underground samba spot that was such a highlight. 11/10 recommend - this is a must do if you are in Lisbon, you will have a much richer understanding of the city.

Experience the Heart and Soul of Lisbon - The Multicultural Lisbon Walk is a captivating journey through the city's hidden gems, revealing the diverse influences that make Lisbon so vibrant.
Teddy is a kind, nurturing and passionate guide who makes your soul smile. From restaurants he chooses to share with us on the tour, the people he calls family, the musical experiences and I can't forget the hidden gems around the city. This tour is as real as it gets serving authentic flavours from around the globe to neighbourhoods alive with music, art, and traditions from many cultures. A melting pot with rich history and Teddy is eager to share all of it with us in the most intimate of ways.
Once the tour was all said and done I realized Teddy is also a hidden gem of Lisbon.
This is a MUST experience!

A must do tour in Lisbon! - Wow! Just wow! This experience blew me away.
This is one of the best city tour I've done and l've done many traveling. This is the most authentic, personable, intimate and full of surprises tour ever.
Teddy is a master experience curator, a grounded and fun human being. Teddy is not your ordinary tour guide. It takes somebody who has lived life like him to be able to give you what he gives. He is a portal to a world full of magical experiences and joy.
Just trust, let go and be open. He'll give you an experience where you feel like you're traveling through time, taste, history, sensory mysteries, pleasure, laughter, joy and I mean so much joy. I don't want to tell you what it is. You just have to go and get lost in the most magical way. I would never have found the places he took our group on my own. | laughed, ate, drank, danced, sang you name it. I am full. I left FULL. FULL OF LIFE. Thank you so much Teddy! I am beyond grateful!

Surprising - not your usual historical walking tour! - If you want a genuine out of the box experience where you get to meet and greet Lisbon locals that have been behind the same counter for 50 years, do join this tour. You will travel up and down through Lisbon, experience different atmospheres and communities, see historical landmarks and fresh street art, or a community centre that once was a palace, while getting to taste local goodies and enjoy authentic music that reminds you that Lisbon has been a multicultural crossroad since 500 years ago, where Africa, Asia and South America joined Europe.
Teddy is a caring and sensitive citizen of the world, and social dreamer with a genuine love for the people, that has a lot to show and share.

Best tour evaaaaaa!! - Had the loveliest experience on this tour!! It was our first time in Portugal and we really wanted to experience it like a local and Teddy takes you to the best spots. My camera roll doesn’t even do justice all the things we were able to see and learn! So many great tastings, drinks, music, and sights! Teddy is very knowledgeable and has a fantastic energy to him. He treats you as a friend and makes sure that you are having the best experience. I highly recommend booking this tour! Thank you for everything, Teddy!

A local’s take on the tour - I’m Portuguese from Lisbon and decided to do Teddy’s tour as an exploration of my own city namely the Mouraria and Graça neighborhoods.
I can say that it was the best tour I’ve done both in Portugal and abroad. Getting to see Lisbon through Teddy’s eyes, discovering his favorite hidden gems was magical. At a point in the tour I felt like I was seeing a totally different city than the one I’ve known my entire life.
I don’t think that I would end up having such a deep experience of the neighborhoods on my own. Teddy has built incredible relationships with the local people who were extremely happy to welcome us into their spaces.
This tour is unique also because it focuses on less touristy areas of Lisbon, which makes it a much more authentic experience of Lisbon.
I wish that I could do a tour like this in every city that I travel to!

A Multicultural, Healing, and Insightful Journey Through Lisbon - I booked a walking tour in Lisbon with Teddy, and it ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of my trip. This wasn’t just a standard tour—it was informative, spiritual, and honestly, mentally healing. Teddy taught me things about Lisbon that I never would’ve learned on a typical group tour.
We explored so many beautiful sites, tasted food from multiple cultures, and I finally understood why it’s called the multicultural tour. What I loved most is that Teddy truly caters the experience to you—your interests, your pace, your energy—while still making sure you see the things that matter.
