Cooking Lisbon style! - We had a wonderful time with Chef Gui. He took us to the daily fresh produce and meat market to have a local cheese and bread tasting and to purchase our ingredients for the class. We returned to a well equipped facility to prep and cook and eat our traditional meal together. Lots of laughs. Delicious soup, cataplana and orange cake dessert. Wonderful. A delightful, thoughtful experience.

Wonderful market and cooking in Lisbon - We loved our morning at market and the cooking class with Roberta, it was fascinating to see the fish traditional market, I never seen so many types of fish and seafood before, we tested some wonderful traditional breads and cheeses, and after buying our fishes and seafood for the lunch cooking we returned to a great cooking facility. We had so much fun cooking together and drink wine at the same time, when we finished cooking we enjoyed wonderful lunch together, overall I would recommend this nice cooking in Lisbon very much!

A must do in Lisbon if you are a foodie. - This was a totally enjoyable experience, run in an extremely professional manner. We were greeted by Pablo, who was our Chef for the day. Once everyone else arrived, we walked for about 5 minutes to the local market, where he bought beautiful fresh fish and seafood, and fruit etc for our lunch. We then walked back to a very professional kitchen, where we all contributed our effort to produce a delicious lunch, with very good wine. We were taught great skills, for example, filleting a fish and shucking oysters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our day, and felt that it was extremely good value for money. Thank you Pablo.

Wonderful experience - We had an a wonderful day starting at the market , learning about local fish , produce and goods . Guy took time explaining the significance of the Portuguese breads and meanings . I consider myself a novice cook compared to my husband and we both enjoyed the class immensely . Guy made it easy and fun to follow along . We got to enjoy our beautiful tasty creations at the end and I was very proud of what we made. It was a delicious way to end our trip in Lisbon .

Great host, fabulous space, unforgettable experience! - A fantastic experience! From the market tour (with bonus history lessons) to the snacks to the cooking instruction and the meal itself, we had a wonderful time. Our host was witty and knowledgeable, great with children and adults alike. We’d recommend this to any group, small or large. The cooking space was clean, large, well-equipped and comfortable. Our host was engaging and skilled, deftly moving from station to station to offer instruction and support. We’d return any time.

The best cooking class! - We have done cooking classes in several countries, and this was the best we’ve had. We got lucky because we signed up for a group class, but apparently no one else did, so we (a family with two adult children) ended up having a private class. We loved the market tour at the start - we always try to sign up for a tour that includes the market because it’s fun to see how local people shop. The kitchen was spacious and bright and nicely air conditioned, and the instructions were clear and very organized. My son and I loved filleting the fish! We made gazpacho, fried little mackerels, steamed mussels, sea bream with vegetables, and an orange roll. Everything was very tasty. Our instructor, Pedro, was friendly and told us a lot about Portuguese food. We highly recommend this class.
