Fun, Informative Class - The class was well organized and everyone got to do some hands on stuff. The two instructors were nice and patient. They move along pretty fast. You make pastel de natas and floating islands and get to eat them before you leave with their recipes.

Fabulous class to learn how to make Portugal’s fabulous Pasteis da Nata. - Anna and Marta did fabulous team teaching for a group of seven students wanting to learn the intricacies of making Pastel de Nata. They were well organized, personable and committed to ensuring the success of our endeavors as we made not only Pasteis de Nata but also “floating islands”. And even as a long time baker, I am happy to have learned several new “bench skills”.

Amazing! - Omg! One of the best things to do in Lisbon! Absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere and Marta was so cute (her handmade earrings was even cuter)! Anna and Angela were also so nice and very welcoming. I loved that they gave us the full history about nata. Very enjoyable.

lovely people, place and food - Staff were lovely, gave history behind the dish and taught us how to make another dish as well so we weren’t waiting in between parts we couldn’t do anything. The recipe was delicious especially the puff pastry outside that made the pastel de nata. Would definitely recomend to anyone debating it.

3 Star Class….. - First, I think the class would benefit from a written recipe, to go over before starting in the kitchen and to take home. The students did not need 25 recipes to download themselves, I found it distracting as kitchen helpers were putting dishes and utensils away while the students were trying to listen to instructions. I was very surprised that the kitchen scale was not used for all measurements, I expect a more professional lesson. I am giving this class a 3 stars.

Not as hands on experience as other cookery classes been to - Expected the experience to be hands on but spent a lot of time listening on how to make the pastry. Got to make the filling but even then the lemon rind was peeled ready. Did make 8 pastel de nata per couple to eat or take away but didn't find it as much fun as other cookery classes been on.
