Although we won’t be going inside, we will stop at certain viewpoints where you’ll be able to see the Castle.

Although we won’t venture inside, we will stop at certain viewpoints where you’ll be captivated by the palace’s romantic allure, the magnificent gardens, and the commanding views of the picturesque Sintra landscape.
- Centro Historico de Sintra - The Historical Center of Sintra is a charming labyrinth of narrow streets and historic buildings where you’ll still find a strong traditional environment amongst handicraft stores, restaurants and cafes.
As we wander its cobbled lanes, you’ll discover the beloved Piriquita Pastry Shop, where queijadas and travesseiros, local delicacies, tempt your taste buds.
Additionally, you’ll be able to admire the National Palace of Sintra from the outside, witnessing its architectural beauty and understanding its central place in the town’s cultural tapestry.
Within a 10 minute walk from here, we can reach Quinta da Regaleira, another famous monument, to take a glimpse at this impressive Palace from the outside.
