Incredible experience - I surprised my boyfriend with this private wine tour for our anniversary and we both LOVED it. Ricardo our tour guide was exceptional and incredible! He made our experience that much more amazing. We were staying about 35 minutes away from the first winery and Ricardo, my boyfriend and I had great conversation. He knows his wines and the history. I would 100% recommend this private wine tour for couples or friends.

Best tour yet, thank you Vasco! - A beautiful day, getting out of Lisbon, to some small towns with fantastic Portuguese wines. Our first stop was to a large, international winery, where we saw some of the areas where the wine was aged, and the processes in creating the unique (and delicious) taste. Our second stop was to a local vineyard, where the wine produced was only sold at their own shop, much to the world's dismay. The wine was excellent and we got to sit outside and see the countryside. Our final stop was to a processor vintner, where smaller grape growers combine harvests. We were led to a subterranean vault where the wine was aged in the casks, and observed how the barrels were tapped and moved as necessary. We were fed from a beautiful plate of chorizo, breads, cheese, butter, and jams of local origin that were very tasty, and we had several tastings of whites, reds, and dessert wines. Our guide, Vasco, although one of the youngest guides with his company, was the best that we have had in Lisbon. We spoke about the city as we were leaving, and what made each stop special, aside from the wineries. We stopped at a Roman/Gothic church and monastery with magnificent views of the river and countryside

Definitely a tour your need to tale - If you are looking for an opportunity to drink delicious wine and see a beautiful region outside of Lisbon, book this tour with Paolo. Our day with Paolo was fantastic! As we traveled through the region drinking amazing wine, Paolo shared his knowledge of wine and the region with us. He made the day even more special by taking us to a local restaurant for lunch and authentic tile shop. This day was so enjoyable for us—definitely a day to remember. Thank you Paolo!!

Fantastic wine tasting tour of three vineyards - Great wine tasting tour. Ricardo is committed, knowledgeable and really offered himself. This tour exceeded all our expectations and the three different vineyards were so different and interesting. Thanks to Ricardo we had an unforgettable day!

Setubal and its landscapes - The tour was done with GBO Lisbon with Claudio Costa. Very punctual and excellent service. We toured a group of points with the best views and the visit to the wine museum was excellent.

Lovely trip, great wine! - This is a top notch tour. Our driver was great. The wineries were lovely. 2 of the wineries were small family ones which is the kind we love. We would do this again.

Must Do! - We had the best time on this tour!! I would 150% recommend it to anyone! Ricardo was an amazing tour guide, gave us so many recommendations, and shared wonderful conversation throughout the tour. We were sad to leave him! We went to a place called “the mother’s house” which is in each wine region in Portugal. I loved that this was one of the stops as it allowed us to try wine from all over the Setúbal region! The lunch was absolutely incredible, the kind of place you try to hunt down when traveling. I would book this trip again if we went back :)

VIno, Vidi, Vici - joao/john was a fantastic host. It was very nice to actually have the owner of the business as our personal tour guide for our party of two. He is very personable and a perfect personal experience if you are a foodie. A must is trying some of the vintage Moscatel’s from Fonseca.
